Anyone why you cant get credit for a one point heal?

From Kids Bugs' guide:

Group Toon-ups will divide the increase to Laff among all Toons. That is, Megaphone will give +18 Laff if there is only one other Toon in the group, +9 if two, and +6 if three.

Whether a successful Toon-Up will give Gag Experience depends on the level of the Cogs in the battle. If the highest level Cog is level 5, a successful Juggling Balls will not give Gag Experience, but Pixie Dust and lower will.

A Toon-up must restore SOME Laff to give Gag Experience. Doing Toon-up on a Toon with full Laff will not give experience.

If the Toon targeted for Toon-up laughs three times (Ha Ha Ha!), the Toon-up "Hit", and will give experience if the other conditions are met. If the targeted Toon laughs once, (Ha!), the Toon-up missed, and will give no experience. A missed Toon-up WILL restore some of the targeted Toons Laff, however.

So basically, what kind of laugh did the targeted Toon give?

Watch it, Bubbles_Bumblebubble, you're quoting from a part of the S&T&S that isn't completely converted to LE yet.

I suspect what silentseas is talking about is what happens when you try to heal the one point that is left over from the toon-up bug. Sometimes, a toon-up that should have completely healed a Toon, will leave that Toon at one point less than their maximum Laff. They will usually recover that point after the battle. If you try to heal it during the battle, it will not give experience. Basically, it will behave as if the Toon is at full Laff.

If a Toon really does have one point of damage, Toon-up will give experience for it.

Ah, my apologies. I still use it as my basis. Now there are different things a Toon says but I thought if you didn't have Ha ha, HA HA HA, Ho Ho Ho, it failed (xp wise). I admit, it goes by and I don't do my own math. Sorry to mislead anyone.
