Can anyone else not log in after update? HELP!! (Merged)

Toontown was working fine before last night's update.
When I tried to log in after the update, I got "Sorry! Your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this game"...bla bla bla.

Husband's computer got the same message.

We both have XP and Adobe Flash 9.

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling both Flashplayer and Toontown. Same notice.

Have we been locked out? What's going on?

Post Minimum Requirements Not Met

Has this happened to you all? Okay this is what it said when I tried togo on tt

Unable to open a graphics window. Make sure you have the latest drivers installed from your 3-D graphics card vendor. If you have previously run Toontown successfully and are unable to run now, it may help to restart your computer.

Has this occured to any of you?

Can someone please help?

I have been playing for almost a year on this PC and I have never had any real problems running the game. I was playing just last night with no problems. Today when I try to play it tells me that I do not meet the minimum requirements. I have checked and my flash player is version 9 and my explorer is version 7 and I am using windows XP. As far as I can tell I do meet the requirements to play and as I said before I have been playing on this same PC for almost a year now. Could someone please help me figure this out? I have a garden to think about here!! LOL

Cool

This was happening to me too... sorry to say it, but nice to hear it's happening to several, mreaning, it's a ToonTown issue and NOT a user-related issue. Was thinking I was gonna' have to start overhauling my system... hopefully they'll have it fixed soon, maybe they had an update go awry...

i'm just getting an error message that says minimum requirements not met... perhaps they're in the middle of an update and forgot to turn off the servers, or put up a message... hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

I am sorry to hear it is happening to you too but I do feel a little better knowing I am not the only one. I hope they get it worked out soon.

What do I download to get toontown back up?

Quote:
To browse Web site content, download, & play Toontown:
Adobe Flash Player 8+
PC running Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, or later with Internet Explorer 5.01 (or newer) OR
Mac OSX 10.4 with Safari 2.0 or later
Now the stupid people of toontown put the stupid thing on open. Now I can't get on to get notices, and pick my flowers-_-

Please someone tell me what I have to download to get toontown back up. Private message me or post here. Just PLEASE let me know what to download.

You can also neomail me on neopets. I am toontown_chick_85 and magicalme258.

See other thread in Playground

Theres another thread in The Playground forum titled "Can anyone else not log in", where people are getting a message today that their system doesn't support the minimum requirements to run toontown, even though it did before today's update. Might want to check that out if your having the same problem.

try this

move your pictures into a different folder
go to the add/remove programs and delete toontown
go to C:>Program files>Disney>Toontown online and delete the folder

go to toontowns site and log in and have it be installed and it should work fine

thats what i had to do this morning and will have to do it on test

This happens to me on every update. I just rename the folder and install again. Now I have 15 old folders... guess I should delete a few

I tried what you said here. When I click on "play" or "log in" from the webpage it just sends me to the "sorry" message. How do I get it to try to reinstall?

Just got off live chat. They don't know what's happening either. Best they could do was tell me I'd maybe hear back from them tonight or tomorrow morning.

I tried sending a bug report. Missing phase1.log file.
I uninstalled and deleted the folder. Tried again. Nothing. Same "Sorry!" screen.

Start flooding Live Chat. Maybe they will get off their rears and do something for a change. I'm pretty mad.

I got that impression too... when I mentioned the missing logfile he asked if I was using a Mac.
Better get it fixed soon. Grrr.

Mine worked fine except for the lag, and it appearently detected as windows. I think TT should seperate the sites like, windows.toontown.com and mac.toontown.com with the same stuff and everything just to keep the right software.
