This is getting rediculous now, it's been over a week and nothing seems to fix the problem, and TT looks like they're not gonna do anything about it.

I've done everything suggested and everything I could think of, but NOTHING works! I've reinstalled Windows, went into the Registry and deleted everything Advent Browser related, complained to them in Live Chat, turned off my firewalls, but not a thing works. I don't like waiting for TT to do something about it because they're like not doing anything to fix it. It took them just one night to lock a bunch of us out, and it's taking over a week to fix this. I just complained to them again in Live Chat and they said it should've been fixed or it will be very soon, which I think is bologna.

Instead of saying "merry christmas" to toontown... Lets say "Merry DEATHmas". Because THATS what toontown is gonna be if they don't fix it!!!! ALL there customers are gonna stop paying for toontown, and put it towards someother game... Neopets, runescape, maple story, some other online game... Or maybe not even an online game.

Okay sorry I'm done letting my angry out

You're not the only one angry. I am too, because this is rediculous. I was working on my garden, and everything is dead, and I was also working on my new toon, who would be stronger by now. I haven't seen some of my friends on there and haven't been able to help them or anything. I think it's lame that other people can get on but we can't. I mean I bet all of us who can't get on had Advent Browser, and we all got rid of it, but we STILL can't get on.

I still can't get in and it's driving me crazy. It's been since Nov. 19th. I've managed to get on "live chat" twice, and that's trying every night. Most times I try I can not get that far onto the website to get to it. I have played for a year with no problems then all of sudden I can't get on the game. I made no changes on my computer so I am sure it has to do with a TT update. But, "live chat" doesn't seem to pay attention to that. I'm thinking of just cancelling my accounts since Disney can't seem to fix it. I really don't want to. I would rather be able to play. But, I'm tired of trying every day to get nowhere.

I have MSN, not Avant (or is it Advent?) and I still cannot get on. Can TTO really think it's not their fault? How can it work one night, not the next morning, with no changes to my computer, and it not be their fault?

We're getting a Mac laptop in the house for Christmas, so hopefully we will still have access through that, but that's a month away...

I'm sending more emails this weekend, as I'm not able to use my computer during their live chat hours. I've just about had it with them.

It IS their fault, they're just *trying* to say it's not and that it's our computers. It's them. We shouldn't have to make any changes to our computers or rebuild them just to play TT because they decided to do this and we want on. They need to fix this, not us.

Fly all the way to them, and tell them that! And then get on the news and tell the whole world to stop playing toontown. Muahahahahahahahaha! ((comes back to earth))

I'm not going to tell the world to stop playing TT and I'm not going to fly to them to tell them that. They just need to get it together and fix this. It is amazing how we can all play it fine one day, and the next, we're locked out because we have/had Advent Browser or something entirely different. It's now the first of December, and it went down like a couple of days before Thanksgiving. I think they've had plenty of time to fix this and it should be fixed by now, but it's not. It's probably because they're not doing anything really to fix it, except point fingers at us and say it's our computers. How can it be our computers if we haven't changed anything at all and we were playing fine one night, and it's down the next day? Some people HAVE changed their computers and got TT to work, but we shouldn't have to. And it's not our computers because I'm sure we've all like checked and made sure we had everything we need to play, and I've reinstalled Windows, went into the registry and deleted everything "Advent Browser" related, took down the firewalls and tried reinstalling Toontown, and probably more. I have everything needed to play TT just like everyone else, but I'm still locked out. It's Toontown, and they just need to stop pointing fingers at us and fix it.

OK, I sent them another email, they responded quickly with "try live chat", which I did. Live chat told me it had to do with Avant Browser - I have even been over on the Avant Browser forum, and found the places the traces of Avant could be tucked way in, and no trace of them! I have never knowingly downloaded Avant Browser. I can't find a speck of it on my computer. What is going on? It's been over 10 days, hasn't it?

Exactly. I talked to live chat last night and they said it should have been fixed or it will be very soon. I don't think they are fixing it, because one tells us one thing, and something else is told by someone else. They're just pointing fingers at us and not fixing it.

Why should I have to remove parental controls to play a child-safe game??? Disney needs to fix the problem. Our kids shouldn't be at risk so they (or we) can play Toontown!! I miss seeing you on Toontown.
I understand that you shouldn't have to adjust your computer just because Disney did something in their programming.
I looked at the updates dated the 20th of November and for the life of me I can't understand how they messed up your access to Toontown.
To tell you that you have to remove MSN because it isn't 'compatible' with Toontown now is insane.
You've been playing forever and remember... you were the one who helped me get my first VP victory
I really hope Disney resolves this issue so you can come back and play.
