Gardening
I have one better than that. Whenever I garden I start lagging big time. Try doing a mint and losing almost all your lps because you can't jump right and keep getting smooshed. I have 117 lp. and if it wasn't for my sf I would have died in there. I've tried reporting this problem to TT and the reply I get is that it's my problem never theirs.

They never take the blame when you report problems!
Heres the last reply I got. ![]() ![]() ![]() Dear Toontown Guest, Thank you for your recent bug report. The problem that you experienced may have been due to a dropped Internet connection. If you connect through a router (a central device that enables two or more computers to share an Internet connection) and seem to lose connection at regular intervals, the firmware on your router may be outdated. To obtain the latest firmware or more information about firmware, please visit the website for your router manufacturer (i.e. http://www.linksys.com). If your network or broadband service uses a wireless router in your home, you will need to connect to the router with an ethernet cable. Wireless connections can be unstable and due to broadcast management techniques, they may drop certain connections following a short period of 'silence'. Because Toontown requires a constant stream of data to stay connected, these issues may sometimes cause Toontown to disconnect. Further, if you connect to either of these devices via a USB cable, please change to ethernet, as they are also more stable. If you connect to the Internet via a dial-up modem, please check your modem drivers and verify that you are connecting to the most secure access number for your area. Dial-up modems can sometimes 'drop' your connection to the Internet. If this is the case it may help to close other applications that use the Internet (such as E-mail clients or messenger services), and/or reconnect to your ISP during a time with less traffic. It also appears that DirectX is causing some conflicts within your system. We recommend that you update DirectX from the following website: http://www.microsoft.com/directx We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we look forward to seeing you in Disney's Toontown Online soon! Thank You, Allen Disney's Toontown Online Member Services Original Message Follows: ------------------------- Description: 1. Log in to Toontown using correct pass word. 2. The loading screen is abnormaly slow. 3. Clicked on my character and began to enter toontown. 4. The game finishes loading and then my connection was "unexpectantly broken" 5. I try again and the street download sticks on 66%. 6. For a third time I restarted the progam and it blacked out and went in to a non-responsive state. These problems are making my toontown experince extremly unenjoyable. Please let me know what you can do to correct this problem ASAP. It is like a constant battle when you try to get problems fixed! ![]() |
