Buggy Pumpkin Head

Ok, I was just fooling around to see what would happen ...

Pumpkin Head will override other Toontown "looks" such as No Color, Small Toon and so-forth.

But, BEWARE of Polar White. This *Poofs* you right back OUT of your pumpkin head. I have changed neighborhoods, and districts to see if it will return, and it has not. Now, I'm waiting for the one hour to elapse to see if that does the trick. I'll update this post when I find out for sure.

Tried going back into the last shop that I Trick-or-Treat'd in .... it flashes you a message that says, You have already found this Treat (or something along those lines), then promptly makes you ABOUT FACE AND WALK OUT, and the building is taken over. That was wicked kooky! EDIT: Ok, just confirmed this two more times ... yep! That must be the "Trick" part. RE Trick-or-Treating a building well result in an instant take over. Either that or its a terrific coincidence.

I do believe this place is haunted.

Yep, I tried Paula Behr, and that got me pretty mad I'll have to admit. My sister lost her pumpkin head the same way, the first thing we did was go back into Gopher's Gags and then we were the same face. My sister started to cry, "I did all that dumb work to lose it!" I lost my pumpkin head yesterday out of curiosity, because I heard that nothing can make you lose your pumpkin head. My sister recently recieved an invisible toon reward, and lost it from Paula Behr. It was THIRTY days, of invisibilty.

... Well, maybe a little.

I was wondering about that, which is why I was testing it out on my other little toons.

Wondering if Disney is aware that the "temporary" polar white toon is canceling out other "looks". The polar white is super fun, I think, but it shouldn't be doing that.

So let this serve as a warning to other curious toons....

Don't be Telling Paula Behr "Howdy!", unless you're ready to LOSE your Pumpkin Head!

I'm curious as to why you would think that you could have a toon effect (pumpkin head, small toon, etc..) go to Howdy! and after it wears off go back to your old effect.

Once you change effects you have it until it wears off and then you are back to your normal self.

Okie dokie.

It was a more of an informational pose, and more to the point, to help those who don't know and maybe even help them not find out the way we did, ... that you only get one shot at pumpkin head, and be careful not to lose it.

Thanks for your input, just the same.

Remember to note that your toon can get all their other styles back (no color, small toon, etc.), simply by getting a task, or (polar white) by visiting Paula Behr, but this is not the case with your Pumpkin Head "treat".

But, Sorry To Hear That Your Pumpkin Went Away, Try Doing The Trick Or Treat Again. Maybe, Even If It Says "You Already Found This Treat"...And, Make Your Last One And Different Shop.

That surely is the stink of it.

Definitley worth trying it out, and I will. Hopefully this will help other toons who want to hang on to their Pumpkin Heads as long as possible, to be careful not to visit Paula Behr. As well as (confirm it with a lesser used toon), wether it might be wise to hold off on visiting an HQ Officer before turning in a size/shape task.

I Found This Out By Acsident When It First Came Out At Twelve And I Did What You Did Then The Next Day I Bug Reported It And Heres My Awnser

Dear Toontown Guest,

Thank you for contacting us.

If you complete a Toontask or otherwise do something that changes your
appearance as the reward, the change overrides any previous changes to
your appearance, including the pumpkin head. Unfortunately since you are
only able to Trick-or-Treat once, there is no way to get the pumpkin
head back.

We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope to see you in Disney's
Toontown Online again soon!

I did the same thing, and reported it, but I have not received an answer back yet. I can only assume that I will recieve the same answer, unfortunately. I think there should have been a warning or something along with all of the "how to get your pumpking head" info stating that if you redeem a shape/color toontask, your pumpkin head will disappear.

At least a got a pic of it before I lost it. :-)
