reward distribution

hello fellow toons,

I post it now here since I don´t get any response from anywhere else.

3 days ago I was at 97 LP, I was working on getting another 4 laff, didn´t know at the time that 100 is the limit, also chose another 3 laff, that is what? - right, 104. in other words, I have defeated 160 (!!) 11+ cogs and 120 loan sharks FOR NOTHING!! they shouldn´t have offered me these rewards in the first place.

and a week ago I was offered the reward of being invisible, instead I became transparent, being told I would stay so for the next 24 hours everywhere except ttc; 30 sec later I change districts and gone was the transparency. stepping back through all the districts didn´t help either.

and also I asked many times if it could be possible at all to change a name of a toon (I just started a new one) - fruitlessly.

I wonder what the section for bug reports are there for.

Yes, that's a known bug on some of the physical changes. It is discussed somewhere else on the forum. I've been small for almost a month now and had no problems but many other people have.

That's not possible, I often wished it had been...

For reporting bugs

I think disney are careful with their updates at the moment. In Beta there were some updates that accidentally blocked whole sections or area transitions. They won't want that to happen with people paying. But I must admit, I would have been extremely annoyed had the small toon for which I defeated 1000 cogs had vanished at the first change of district.

I was pretty derailed after finding out I could only get 100 laff too. So I decided to try and get an answer by sending in a bug report. Here is what they replied to me with.


Dear Toontown Guest,

Thank you for your recent inquiry. There is currently a Laff point cap
at 100 which you have bumped into. We apologize that this was not clear
in the game. We are currently working on the quest system and this will
be fixed in a future release. We are also planning on releasing new
content periodically. First up will be new minigames. Keep your eye out
for new stuff on the What's New page: http://play.toontown.com/news.php

I decided to do the thransparent task to see what it would do. I never did look transparent. Do not remember changing areas or any of that. I didn't even have it when I walked out of the HQ. I think I got it when I was still a low toon so didn't have to do too much for it at least. I think there are many bugs with the change your appearance tasks.
