What in the world is going on!?!?!

Im very frustrated/ confused. Ok, so today I did about 8 buildings for my LOM task, you know 20 buildings lalala. So everytime I took 5 big magnets and 3 $3 dollar bills with me. Each cog building I used all 5 big magnets and not once, I repeat, not once, did they work! And all the toons with me when they used lure it rarely worked. Am I bad luck or something, or is this a bug? Anyone experiencing something similar or if anyone has an explanation, that would be appreciated too.

It seems to me that when lure misses it misses in droves. I haven't worked lure for a while, but I was working my $5 on test this weekend and had the same problem. My bill wouldn't hit for like five cogs straight and then it would suddenly start hitting all the time.

I think they changed the accuracy of lure when Lawbot HQ came out, because everyone's lure has been hitting much less lately than it used to. That may be part of it.
