Sad in Mint - Sort Of

I was in the Coin Mint last night with some medium laff toons that insisted on using sound. Unfortunately, they didn't have high enough gag levels to beat Level 11's in one round. (Also, I was just helping a friend - I didn't even need the stinking cogbucks!)

We sounded a group of four Level 11's (against my better judgement) & they all survived. The cogs attack ended up causing the toon next to me to go sad. I still had plenty of laff points left. Right after he went sad, MY TOON THREW DOWN A BLACK CIRCLE & TP'd BACK TO THE PLAYGROUND - SAD & WITHOUT GAGS! I certainly didn't do this, it was only a Coin Mint & the three toons left could easily have finished.

I've done lots of mints & factories, but I've never seen this before.

Is this the famous sad bug I've heard about?

It most likely is, That has happened to me many times before. I remember the first time it happened when I was about 67 laff. My friends and I were in a 5 story building and one of them went sad when we had to face a group of cogs
The next minute 'm teleporting away in a hole and was sad when I got to the playground. Its almost like the server was telling the future cuz it knew the next few cogs would kill me so they put me out of my frustration. But I still would have liked to know whether I could have missed or something. Give me a chance!

Yes, that sounds like the sad bug. Send a bug report, maybe if they get enough they'll do something to fix it.

I think this bug may be when 2 toons go sad in 2 cog attacks. Lets say there are 4 cogs and 2 toons. the first cog uses a shake attack, which damaged all toons to 1 laff! Then a cog uses an attack on the first toon, and he goes sad. Then the second toon goes sad because the 3rd will miss, and the 4th cog will do an attack would kill the 2nd toon. The battles are just in these following steps:

1. Let players choose gags.
2. Calculate accuracy of gags.
3. Randomize cog attacks
4. Select cog attack accuracy based on area where toon is (TTC has a lower hit accuracy when a targeted toon is close to going sad.)
5. Deduct laff and hit points from players.
6. Add in animation.

This is why toonup unite phrases don't stop someone from going sad after the animation has started. This is also why in laggy times you just see all the damage deducted and gags as-if used.

It's not, sometimes you heal from the bug. The cogs dont do that, do they?

No its not a bug. Its just when you x out of the game. My friends have done that before in a CFO so they wouldnt have to dance then tp to the playground they can just x out come back in and be in cashbot hq insted of in ddl. If you have a fast computer you can log back in and be in cashbot hq b4 the dancing ends. I know this for a fact because they told me that they were going to x out so they wouldnt have to walk and they appered to take out a hols and jump throw it.

i once had a friend die and i had like 60 laff and then i went down to 30, why does it do that?

That just happened to me in a building YESTERDAY. My secret friends were like, "Why'd you leave?" I was like "I didn't!" Then I explained it all.. It was really annoying. Only happens when a toon goes sad though! Happened to my friend once in the VP. Odd thing is.. It always seems like it's someone NEXT to the toon that goes sad.. I'm pretty sure it is the sad bug.

Wierd Bug. Today I Went in To A Build (4 Story) With, A 16 A 18 A 49 And Me (A 97) The 18 Went Sad On Floor 3, Then On The 4 Th Floor The 16 Went Sad, Then Me And The 97 Had Max Laff! Wierd
