"New" CEO Battle Is Absolutely Rediculous.

I will CEO anytime I can get in with a reasonable group, i.e. those that have a chance to live through it. Take lots of tu unites and you'll make it but also use your unites on everybody in with you cause you need the whole crew to win faster. Yesterday there was a blue dog 109 LP he glitched durning the 1st cog round, like some do in a VP cog 2nd round, then he unites us with squirt that filled up our bags so if we wanted a sound or gag all unites it wouldn't give us much then he tp's out. If I ever see him again I'm spreading his name round town, he had 3 words in his name and it was the bold ridged font, blue dog 109 lp.

I have found that it wasnt as bad, I think that the ghost hits work in different ways.

I dont really understand it, but the first time I did it (OP) it was soo hard and everyone almost died, and the second time I did it, it was pretty easy, and everyone made it...

I dont really know anymore, I wish it would just go back to the way it was though...

there is a technique. i dunno if this works against the glitch but when the CEO yells Fore he will spin. what u do is as soon as he starts spinning really fast, jump off the table and i makes u miss by a hair. this is a really good technique.
one time this weird thing happened to me, but before the new glitches. we did a 7 man CEO and i was with my friend and the first round was great, but then 2 toons had to leave and 1 discoed because of this.the next 2 rounds were fine too. the actual duel of the fates was . all the toons died eventually and i still dunno y. they were great toons! it was just me and my friend. the CEO was yellow, and we brought him down to red, but both belts were lost(ran out of TU unites). then i was just walking when gears came at me. doesnt the CEO only throw gears at u on a table?! so i died.

Well the first time I went after updates, we won ... but barely. It wasn't about winning or losing it was about not wasting time doing something that isn't fun. I got hit with -70 points worth of random -5&freeze during feeding round. Then I got hit with -60 "fore" while trying to squeeze in one last squirt. Both bugs in same fight.

As long as TT continues to flood other districts with lawbot CI then I can do law without making a 40minute coimmitment to the DA. Which is fine by me. If the bugs stay with CEO, if the staff CI floods stop, and if there is no SOS shopping ... then there's nothing fun left to do in TT .... and what's the point in paying for a subscription?

However, Toontown is a "for profit" game and the current state of CEO harms that profit by making subscriptions less desirable. So I'll wait until they fix the bugs. If they don't then I'll just move on to something else.

I've been in the CEO five times with the CCG, died twice, and escaped from the battle three times when I found myself with with one or two toons after the others had either gone sad or escaped themselves. Five times, and I'm STILL a lvl 1 flunky. It's always taken me time to learn the hqs, but this is just far too difficult. TT better do something about this or else only the very best players will be doing the boss battles and none of us mediocre gamers will have the opportunity. And I'm an adult. I play TT because it's the only video game I can get the figure out and boss is frustrating me no end.

I CEO'd last night and the phantom hits are gone! I just went with random toons of all levels...so it looks like its back to normal...or was heaven just on my side.....?

hee...hee....I got my laff boost..so I am happy!

That is not what the posters are talking about. There are bugs where you get hit out of no where. I know for a fact that I have been nailed miles away from the CEO when he was facing the other way and did not yell fore. This is a bug. I did one CEO where I lost 45 laff in the first 20 seconds of the squirt round. No fore, no gears, just on my feathery buns for no reason 3 times. I don't mind a tough fight, but I do mind when the bugs are so bad, you don't even stand a chance.

I wouldn't count on them being gone. You just got lucky. I went last night and was hit by 4 or 5 phantom hits. Took me down to 16 LP and was only saved by a Max Unite.

I agree completely. I don't mind challenging, but there has to be a way to avoid the attacks. When they are unavoidable, winning becomes random and has more to do with luck than skill. This takes all the fun out of the battle. Hopefully they fix this bug soon.

I totally agree its getting ridiculous and I think its only since they have did they delay chat thing that it started happening before that every CEO i did I survived yes I got hit a few time but never anything to serious, now when I go I have to use at least 3 max TU unites and 3 80 TU Unites along with my friends and its still not enough.

And since you can't ALT F4 anymore either its stupid I have now gone sad for the 3rd time an lost all my level 7 gags so I am just going to stay out of there till its fixed.

I have been tempted once or twice recently to have a go (darn it!... I miss those seltzer tables!) but everytime I read a report with lots of sadualties and numerous unites required to carry the team through, it puts me off again!

I have no problem with throwing unites to balance the odds or save someones skin (when I have any lol!) but this battle has become more about fighting/beating Toontown bugs in order to survive rather than testing your gameplay skills and teamwork capabilities.

I agree with Scottsman... I will not be going to any CEO battles until this has been sorted out. That is.... as long as I can resist these urges!

You can still alt out in seltzer round. My sf with 1 laff alted, and she came back with her laff and gags.

Don't be afraid to CEO. just bring 2 or 3 unites with you, and what you don't use keep for next time. I usually need to do a few CFO's till I get a couple tu unites. Yes, the CEO is vicious, he does a lot of Fores just jump, not run. Yes you may get about 1 or 2 phantom hits but I am getting use to that now. So jump in a CEO and have the time of your toon life, LOL.

I've CEOd a couple times lately and haven't had a loss lately. However, is the golf still working? 4 of the toons were constantly hitting him with the golf balls, and not once did he slow down at all!

With the phantom hits and the lags, it is easy to go from 130 to 50 in mere seconds. I watched a toon jump off the table to be pulled back in and smushed by the boss because of lag. It was a strange sight but he lost 45 pts at one time. Then with a few phantom hits your doomed with out unites. I am not sure what update started these phatom hits but I am ready for them to go away!!
