Are you there, Hogan?

In a Nutty River CEO on Tuesday evening, 8 of us got on the elevator. We knocked off the cogs without trouble. We fed the Big Cheese banquet and did a reasonable job. Then the CEO battle started...

Some people (like me) squirted, some golfed. It seemed fine, but only a few minutes into the battle, I saw some people using TU unites. By the time the CEO had just turned orange, suddenly there were only two of us left: Hogan (dog or rabbit - don't remember) and me. I had my sound turned off, so I couldn't tell if people went sad or disco'd.

We were both squirting and, since I noticed some of the snacks were about to fall, I went and ate them to toon up from about 85 to about 95. After I did that, I checked Hogan and realized he was only 37/128. Oops! So I ran over to him and used my TU max.

Hogan said "Thanks!" and "We can do this!" What an awesome toon! Most wouldn't have stuck around at only 37 laff -- especially with only one other toon left. He wanted to see this thing to the end, and so did I.

We had just turned the CEO light red, and then I saw Hogan get flattened. I don't know what laff he was at that point, but he disappeared. Hogan, if you see this, I hope you were able to disco before going sad. You put up a fantastic fight. I'd hate to see you lose your Lvl7 gags after all that. I'm very grateful that you stuck with it! Thanks! You rock!

After such a long fight (and Hogan's heroics), there's no way I was going to bail. The CEO and I traded hits. I got him flashing red, and he got me down to 37 laff, so one more hit could knock me out (no TU unites left, and both conveyors were gone). But he didn't hit me again, and I made it out (and got my first BBHQ laff boost). It was such a relief to see +93 scroll up the screen when the CEO went down. But it was a bittersweet victory knowing how hard Hogan fought and didn't get to share in it.

Hogan, I hope you got a revenge run and I hope to fight along side you again. You are awesome!
