soundless doesnt mean less(im gonna vent)

My toon is Jellyroll Featherflap bc lvl 43, maxed on all others....purple dog!!!First of all i want to thank all the toons with sound who do runs with me.i hope the experince is good as it seems to be most of the time. I appreciate you giving me the chance. OK that being said i have had enough of these other toons who think u can only participate in toontown if u carry the precious sound gags. Most recently to the purple cat that cost me twenty minutes and every other toon that decided to shuffle just to keep me off the cart. that kind of elitist prejudice behavior is disgusting and coss us all time. thanks also for overstating the obvious that "you should choose sound" over and over.You must be a genius. I have been playing toontown with my kids since it first started and at that time it wasnt clear what sound could do or how important it would be with the headquarters. But I dont need an excuse why I dont have sound!!!!
Im not asking to run nines , but come on it doesnt take much or any longer with a soundless toon if you use strategy!!!!!!! thats what this game is about. you just have to actually play instead of just blindly using sound over and over. i can appreciate the use and ease of sound but thats no excuse to exclude and insult someone without it. In sixes 3 out of the 6 sets of 10's are taken out in 1 round..... 2 fogs , 1 ele, 1 piano v2.. I try and only win 1 puzzle so you get more fogs because there is no restock for drop on puzzles which is the gag i need in there...I always ask "did u win" and if all didnt I use trap or a seventh level gag. To you toons that always ditch me or wont go OPEN YOUR MIND you really are missing out on the game and also on having more than just the same old routine every run. The fact that i am even close to maxing boss after how many times i am ditched every day , should show you.... I am soundless and i am staying that way!!!!!!!!! But I can play and have a blast tooo.. Being soundless is rough. It used to be a lot worse when I didn't have maxxed gags, and I was working Cash. I often did bullion mints, and I would sometimes get stinked for not having sound. I haven't done Back 9s, or Midle 6s for that matter. I think that Boss is going to be one of the toughest for me to maxx, because the CGCs are the longest "factories" in the game. Some people can't handle spending some extra time to help out a soundless toon. Some think you are stupid for not picking the gag, but the truth is, you probably have more strategy than they do. Have you ever seen what happens in any of the "factories" when sound misses? The group usually panics, and makes poor gag choices.

Anyways, I hope you have better luck in the future. Maxxing Boss (or anything) without sound is a much bigger accomplishment than someone who maxxed something without it.

i have friends TUless and i don't care.I have friends soundless and i don't care.As long as soundless people don't act like their so cool coping without sound i'm fine.As for TU it always depended weather they can kill a cog without getting hurt too much.

I'm sorry there are rude people out there who do that to you. But really it's just a game. You chose not to choose sound and they have the right to chose not to run with you. Those things DO take longer with someone who is soundless b/c you have to use more fogs per turn which means you run out quicker. I appreciate that you are upset about being treated badly due to your gag choices.. but I also think it's getting old that people without sound sometimes are playing the martyrs.. Like I said, It's only a game. Just b/c someone doesn't want to run with you b/c you don't have sound does not make that person bad and it doesn't show that they have bad character. It just means maybe they are trying to get their stock options or whatever as quickly as possible. I run with soundless all the time in front threes and sixes which I don't have a problem with. And I've seen soundless get shunned away from the carts which does stink b/c it's only a game. I've actually waited to go with the soundless person in hopes of minimizing some of the shuffle they experience. So you just have to keep trying. Your choice of gags may or may not have been intentional but it is one of those choices that will inevitably make the game more challenging for you. So as you've said you won't give up. So don't. And if someone doesn't want to run with you just wait for the next one.

Oh, I just wanted to make it clear that I was not saying that people created soundless in order to BE the martyr or whatever.. just that some make a big deal out of it. And I did say that I do run with soundless and don't have a problem with it.

Oh, that's always going to happen. I suggest being friends with a lot of soundless toons. That way you can do Nines together, have fun, and not be stinked.

it's often faster for me to go with a soundless. The people who don't do well with soundless toons in back 9's are also the same that bring all 80 gags. I don't understand it, i go in with 50 and walk out with 70, including fog horns and other junk.

2 fogs, 1 ele and a piano on the v2, or 3 fogs and a tnt to setup for lure.. (or piano on v2), it works great...

If you need an extra person and i'm on, let me know, i've got dxd or will make room.

oh, and i think one of the best soundless i've played with, made a guide just for learning and teaching these people how to behave..

I don't think he was being a "martyr" in anyway, I think he is trying to share his frustration of certain people on the game who refuse to go with anyone out of their comfort zone. It is no harder to do a mid 6 with a soundless then it is to go with all sound. He stated that he stops doing the cog ball game to ensure that other players get the sound they need, but tt doesnt always just hand sound out for those who need it in that paticular game, have you never been in the cgc and run out of fog when your with all toons who have sound? It's happend to me and I am pretty sure it has happend to you. So by going with a soundless doesn't cause anymore risk for you losing your sound then going with all toons who have sound.

I have friends whom are soundless and I have never once thought of not going with them. It is all in how the person plays. I have run mid sixes with the ops toon before and he is an awesome player and we have glided thru the cgc with no problems. Keep up the good work, and if someone chooses not to run with you, then its their loss.

Just because someone has the right to not run with a soundless doesn't make it ok. It is just a game, but, believe it or not, you can do things that are wrong in it. Refusing to go with a toon because of a gag he/she doesn't have is one of them.

People see a soundless standing by the back-9, and they freak out like it actually takes that much longer to run with a soundless. In all reality it doesn't take that much longer at all. Maybe 10 minutes? Honestly, what else are you going to do with those 10 minutes? Seriously, quit being such babies, and DARE to take that extra 5-10 minutes to run with a soundless toon. You may realize how stupid you are for avoiding them after you actually try it.

I would never not go with someone just because they didnt have sound! It has never bothered me and I would not say "I think you should choose sound." I find that toons who do not have sound know how to use their other gags to compensate for that. Sometimes the runs take a little longer but i always check a toons gags before i go and if they dont have sound I mentally add a few minutes to the run and make sure I have enough time. The only time I would not go with a soundless toon is if I had some time constraints other than that I think they are fine

Sorry this happened to you but unfortunately 95% of the time, it always will. I agree with Danny 100%, Just because someone prefers not to run with a soundless toon, doesn't make it right. I have done back 9 with soundless toons. Jellyroll being one of them. and haven't notice much difference in time between being with a soundless toon, or with all toons having sound. Most soundless toon are well experienced.

Anyone who thinks it is faster to shuffle than to run with a soundless is delusional. I saw some people shuffling a soundless off of the middle 6 last week. I tried to board for 5 minutes!! The other toons kept jumping off and saying, "Let's use sound." "Sorry!" That was already happening before I got there. Who knows how much time they spent doing that before I got there. Finally, I whispered to the soundless to follow me and I took him in a front 3, because personally, I don't have time to waste shuffling.

We went in with 4 toons, only one was soundless. At the row of 10s, we used 2 fogs, 1 elephant, and a piano. Took them out with one turn instead of two turns like the all sounders do.

i did run with jellyroll and it was fun ,it was just as fast with 1 soundless as with 4 all sound , good luck with all your runs ,and i for one won`t refuse to board with u ,my toons name is lil miss purrfect.

Funniest thing is, in all the shuffling that ensues, it costs you 5-10 minutes + just to avoid that soundless toon, DUH.....lol. Just load and go people.
