A new theory that just may releave all those people who do back nines!

I have noticed that back nines are usually 1 hour and 30 minutes and middle sixes 30-45 each. I say 30-45 because I did a middle six and someone disco'd but it only took 40 minutes. Image how many minutes with 4 people. I've also done a few sixes that only took 30 minutes meaning 5 minutes per floor. Well if this theory is true(I need to test it) then people who do the 23300( I need one more mid six yes) stock options may only need to do middle sixes. I have a friend who plays I don't know maybe 3 hours a day and doesn't do back nines. She went from (I think) level 12BC(i'm on 12) to 16 fast. She got the 23k's doing all middle sixes and is now 133 laff. Now one middle six is 1874 options if you do an invasion. Say the middle six took 40 minutes which is(should) be normal considering almost everyone is used to boss now. Times that 1874 by 2 and you get 3748 stock options! And two middle sixes = one back nine 45 minutes + 45 minutes. Now say though a back nine only took an hour. Well you get 3350 but the two middle sixes is still 3748 which is more than the 3350. But say you do 3 middle sixes all 30 minutes! You'll get 5622 stock options! Well that stinks I just did a back nine and got less than that! So i'd like to ask anyone who's willing to, to test this theory then come back reporting how much time. As for me I need to get to level 14 on the 23k options and test this. I will only do middle sixes then count all my time everyday. Then i'll count the average time of a back nine and times that by 7(the amount you need for the 23k). So anybody who would like to see if this is true please do so. If this theory is true then you can expect that you may need to never do another back nine. Now some people will argue oh no doing back nines is one hour less. I don't believe it considering there's no proof. No one likes to do back nines(opinion) so if this is true I bet a lot of people will be so happy...

The majority of the back nines i have done have taken just over an hour, like 1 hr 5 min or 1hr 10 min.....as far as 23000, I can do 7 back 9s or 13 middle 6s.....no way im doing 13 of anything oof!

Guess it is just a personal preference....

There's already a thread that tested this theory, and after gathering the data the results showed that doing 7 back-9's for your 23,000, rather than 13 mid-6's is quicker.

Most of my back-9's took just over an hour, like an hour and three or four minutes... You must have bad luck.

And no I don't have bad luck butmost other peoples back nines are 1 hour and 30 minutes. These are people who aren't fast.

Wow.. I believe you can do the back nines that quick. If you have a good group that's used to playing how you play especially. And if you're lucky enough to not lag or get stuck at all. Awesome! It takes me about 4 days to get my 23300 for LACK OF TIME .. UGH.. I can't usually do a that many back 9s, have to break it down to whatever I have time for that day... OH WELL...

OMG I figured it to be about 116 bldgs. if you had to do it that way!! LOL NO THANKS! hehe .. Still takes me about 4 days... Oh well, I'll get there someday..

Just finishing a 23k tonite hopefully.. I need a clone!

Sorry for not running to TTC as soon as I could to find and post the link for you...

And how do you know most people take an hour and a half to complete back-9's? I rarely hear about back-9's lasting for longer than an hour and 15 minutes, and most I hear about take between an hour and 5 and an hour and 10 minutes. I would think that if practically all of my back-9's lasted under an hour and a half, then so would most other peoples... I ran with randoms 80% of the time, so I didn't run with "great" groups much.

Anyway, that thread pretty much proves the point I'm trying to make. 7 back-9 runs is quicker than 13 mid-6's.

He doesn't have bad luck because all my 9s take atleast 1 hr and 15 min and its not just me, Jenny said so too. I've done a few 9s at an hour before but those are rare. Although, I still don't understand how it takes him 1 hr and 30 min less they lag A LOT! Only time it takes me that long is when I'm running a 9 with Paul.

Actually it would take like 10 hours longer to run 13 back-9's than 7

I don't see how all Jenny's took that long though... Especially since she seemed to run with experienced SF's a lot. Hmm. I go with randoms and it takes me between an hour and 5 and an hour and 10 minutes practically everytime. Maybe all 3 of you have bad luck? lol. Or I just have good luck? Dunno.

Miss Nadia is known for having some bad luck. :P

I'd give my input, but I really don't even remember how long my nines took anymore, haha!

However, I'm pretty sure most of them wern't over an hour and 15 minutes. Which probably would make yours a little less..
