Please ppl....do not feed the cogs way in the front...work as a team and do the tables closest to you...I start with the one closest to the belt and work across, moving towards the other belt....that way both sides are working all three tables in the back...then go row by row..till you reach the front....ppl are feeding the cogs and then randomly walking over to a new table and starting to feed those cogs....And we had one who was walking back and forth to the very front where the ceo was and walking back...by the time she got back to the cog, he was angry...As the speed chat says, "Please feed the same cog again" and feed the tables closest to you first!!!! Good luck and have fun

Terminology Inconsistency
Well...I have yet to find an agreed upon general strategy for this portion of the CEO battle... I've been sticking with feeding ones in the front first... Well...the ones closest to the belts. And that leads me to the purpose of this post:
I wonder if there's any confusion based on terminolgy... I notice that one poster uses "front" tables to mean the ones closest to the belt, while another poster uses "front" to mean the ones far away, near the CEO... Just thought I'd point it out... |

I wrote this because I was tired of watching toons come in and feed one cog and then wonder off to another table to feed another. One of the threads here, suggests feeding two tables at opposite areas. Front and back!!!!! Are you crazy??? Have you even been in the dinning room??? Please do not give suggestions like that...We had over 30 cogs left over today because someone was doing just that!!! It was crazy!!!
Please...feed in rows..starting with the ones closest to the belts and work across. This way you have both sides covering the same area...I've done it...I've seen it done...it works... ![]()

This method works extremely well. I'm finding if I take the lead using this method, others will genearally follow to "feed the same cog again".

The confusion is the main reason why I have tried to keep from saying front or back and instead use "tables closest to the belts." Once I make a diagram, I will change to using front/back in my guides. The Dogfather |

I'm sorry you are discouraged by some of the replies you have gotten here, some of which I feel are of a hostile tone that is completely uncalled for. In fact, if you feed the same cog again, you wind up wasting time waiting for a cog to finish its oil at the close tables, so it is not at all obvious to me, at least, that your "short walk/long walk" approach is not worth thinking about, as you obviously have used it with some success.
The choices here are not "crazy" vs. "wonderful". I think we need more information to devise an optimal strategy, and even then it won't work because it will be very rare that you can get eight toons to actually follow it. But thanks for your idea, and I hope you are not too discouraged by some of the replies you have gotten on what is supposed to be a friendly forum, or at least that is what this particular toon thinks it ought to be. |
