Serious Disco's

Tonight I have tried to CEO multiple times, in River and quiet districts, and it never fails-at least half of us get booted. I have yet to finish a ceo in 4 hours of trying and getting tired of it. We all have problems logging back into TT after for a few minutes as well.

Anyone have a clue what TT is doing? I'm about to give up for the night!

I have tried twice to get through a back nine, booted half way through each time. Made it through one front three and one middle six. Just got booted again partially through middle six and have now given up for the night.

Yes me too...3 out of 4 attempts at the back nine and i got booted on the 5th floor. I finally gave up also. Its just not worth it.

I was booted on the 8th floor of a nine, then booted on the 2nd floor of a 3 two times!! I was booted out of CEO and said forget it messed around with some fishing and went to bed. I'm sick of spending hours of work for no credit! I feel ya Kristine (B). Hope today is better for us cause I'm hoping to work racing since it's not Monday...

A question was raised , what is disney doing with regards to disconnects? The answer appears obvious__ NOTHING. A while back the Moody Blues had an album that it seems to have become disneys motto, ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL. I was with Boop and Ambear when we disconnected twice on the 9 hole. Both times on the 8th floor.

I Have noticed that since Boss came out, my 'gray times' in trasitions (elevators, tunnels, teleports) is longer. And I got to wondering...now I am far from knowlegeable in this field but maybe someone who is might read this and answer some of my wonderings. I know that toontown is played on each of our computers and that we only send situation changes to the toontown servers and the servers send our changes and the changes of others players back. So, if your computer 'plays slow' due to the memory leak or inadequate RAM (which I have), everyone has to 'wait' for the updates and we get 'laggy' play even if only one person is 'lagging'. I think the servers are impatient and if they don't hear from your computer in what they think is a reasonable time they disconnect you. And what the servers consider to be a reasonable time might depend on how busy they are. Since boss came our, your computer has an even bigger program it is trying to run and I will just bet the RAM demand is higher. Right now I am playing with just 1G of RAM, and when Alvin runs down a street, he has one second pauses often where he is not moving. So, I ordered a new memory module to take my RAM up to 2G, I will let you know if that helps.

I suffered the same disconnects. I even switched to an AirCard after my main ISP completely let me down, and poof... Disconnect!!! GRRRRR

I find that it's funny how TT remembers all the level 7 gags, fires, and unites that you used before you get disconnected. They even remember the area that you were. They need to put a choice at your log-on to "return to where you were" when you were given the BOOT. Maby they could make it available for ... 1 minute if you log back on it that time frame.

I have trouble with disconnects...once I get them, my encouragement to finish my stocks goes way down and I just loose the will to play...It's not bad if these were simple SBHQ Facs, but these are hour long BBHQ Cog Courses.

I've been having problems for days, but I am also having router problems. I have been okay in test, so I think that the open problems might just be because so many people are in the game now. A lot of people who quit TT have come back for boss, and TT also has the free accounts now, so maybe they just bit off more than they could chew.

No, they can for sure tp to River. I know this for a fact. They will be in TTC, but they can go to whatever district they want. Many players have made free accounts for TP toons to River. That might be part of the problem, too. Although, people are saying they disco in other districts, too.

Grrr! I was on the 3rd floor of the biggest DA office last night and got disco'd! It's so frustrating!

I experienced the first disco in Kooky Grove with friends. After the disco, some left out of frustration so the remaining players went to River. Two sleepy attempts in River and still empty handed, but by that point the anger was keeping me awake. Fourth time was a charm and we got to dance. I thought it was a lot to do with River, but I see now that since we are getting disco's in other districts there must be more to it. Also, only half the players disco while the others stay-now that I don't get. Why not disco all of us? My friends are scattered across states/time zones, even different countries and all use different providers.

Maybe the TT genie that can answer these burning questions is hiding in those new sewer manholes. I say we take some extra fires and head in there and get him.

I thought it was just my computer! I keep getting booted out of 9s too! Although, I'm pretty sure its my connection considering I get booted off yahoo too :P
