I understand what he is saying. If I jump off the table only to avoid a FORE then it annoys me to no end to have it taken. I am not running for snacks. I am just avoiding an attack. Don't take my table when I am standing right next to it. Sure I might not own it but the polite thing to do it get another table when you see someone standing next to it. It's called Good Teamwork!

Unless of course you did understand me, then what you are saying you think it ok to jump on a table when someone obviously wanted to get back on, and I spose that crane someones jumped off is handy, or even that stunning spot, that someone moved back from to avoid a cog shower? I hope this not what you mean. Because if it is, remind me not to battle with you. 'Keep it Kool '

I know what you mean, because when I jump off, I (just like everyone else) need to wait for the table to reset. A couple times, another toon has run over and jumped onto the table I was on. I just started to think that maybe they are having different lag than I am and they aren't seeing what I am seeing. I know I have seen the CEO sitting on a friend before, and he wasn't seeing that at all.

There's two occurrences of this that I have experienced.
The first being, so much like crane stealing that I was dumbfounded. Just as the OP said, (except that it wasn't a "higher suit" it was a virtual new suit) I jumped off to avoid gears or Fore, and as I go to get back on, whammo, someone else is getting on it, and I have to readjust, look for another table, run to that other table while watching where the CEO is and where he is heading, and often most of the tables near me are taken so I have to run all the way across the dern floor. The second, is a little more rare, but I *have* noticed - that some people hold to the "when the CEO yells Fore jump off your table and run for another" strategy (I don't remember where I saw this, I didn't comment at the time because I figured it wouldn't be well recieved). In other words, at some point in time, somewhere, someone posted that a good strategy was to switch tables any and every time that the CEO yells Fore. The logic behind it was that it got you back on a table 1) while avoiding the direct path of the golf balls and 2) BEFORE your previous table stopped being transparent. Now that there are more experienced players in the general population, the above strategy isn't what most people use, but I think that there are still toons out there who don't realize that you don't necessarily have to run willy-nilly to avoid the golf balls. Anyway, I have been known to sit with jaw agape because someone came and jumped up on the table I had just vacated - but I have also literally LOL'd when someone, following me around taking the table I was on each time I jumped off (tell me THAT wasn't intentional!) jumped onto a table that was one of the high-risk ones (i.e. the CEO was a hair's breadth away, and I had been playing chicken with him, getting in really quick -2 shots), and watched as said toon didn't realize how quickly the CEO can run over you in that situation, and got squished. Yeah, there are some out there who are doing it on purpose, but I think for the most part the ones doing it AREN"T aware they are "taking a table you were using and that's offensive" becase they are still in near-panic mode. Have fun!

While it's essential to keep on the move in the CEO, it's very poor sportsmanship to snarf someone's table when a toon's jumped off during an attack or FORE. If you dont have a table then run around and distract him until one frees up. Shortages usually mean he's flattened more than one table and something just has to pop back up.

The most efficient CEO I've been in had most toons on seltzer bottles. Each toon seemed to stay on their own table (meaning the table they originally started on), only jumping off for FORE, direct hits by CEO, and before CEO ran them over. If a toon had lost laff points but could wait, the time to go grab some snacks was when the CEO was sitting on their table. Toons would grab some snacks and run straight back to the table they were on without wasting time looking around for an empty table. The battle went quickly and all toons were in good shape laff wise at the end. No toon-up unites were necessary.

When bbhq first came out I died alot and kept trying to figure out better ways to avoid attacks. I read on here somewhere that it was a good idea to switch tables and so I tried that and it worked pretty good. I certainly never meant to steal anyone's table. I didn't view it like "crane stealing" at all. So if a little black cat named Oreo stole your table...Sorry, still learning!

I mean, while I personally am happy to have as many on the seltzer bottles as possible, if I were to accidentally take HER specific table, I wouldn't be inclined to jump off just to give it back to her. And I'd be pretty miffed if I jumped off to avoid gears/fore and she jumped on in my place. Yeah, I'd move on to another one, but she maybe needs to try a different table? Variety being the spice of life and all... LOL - kids - can't live with'em, can't get them to pick up their rooms, can't get them to eat the vegetables, .....where was I again? Oh yeah...kids! Craig

Now before you start attacking at what I say please note that I have not done CEO yet and that my information is comming from pictures of the CEO and from what I've heard in posts. If you have a problem with my opinion based on my current forms of information, please pm me and I'll discuss with you.
The situation with the CFO and the cranes is different due to a limited amount of cranes (4) and I would say that it's annoing in a CFO run, however in a CEO there is enough tables for every toon so I wouldn't find it too offending if someone took my table. I would just move to another table and continue the battle. I understand that it takes a few more seconds to move to another table, but I don't believe that the table you were just at should be declared as your table.

The main problem I see with switching tables is the waste of time. The room is big and it can take some time to find an empty table that you can get to. Also, it's hard to look for clear tables while keeping track of the CEO's location. If you are going back to the table you just came from it is a bit easier and certainly less time consuming.
