but while there is a thread from a soundless toon letting us sounders know exactly how to play with them, here is a little advice from a sounding toon to some non sounding toons.

1) Do NOT pass when we get to the 11's. Lure them. If they are lured, our sound will not miss. It's very frustrating to us to watch our 3 foghorns go to waste. Yes, it happens, but if there is something that will lessen the chance, we'd sure like to see it happen.

2) Do not hesitate to drop on the level 10 v2. There is no need to wait for us to battle the leftover skelecog. It's the nice thing about the non sounder. Less work for us.

3) If you have a unite sound, now is a good time to put it to use! Likewise, a visit from Miss Melody Waver would be equally as nice.

It's lovely that you enjoy being soundless. No, I am not especially fond of long runs (Back 9's, DA-d's, Bullion Mints) with non-sounders, but I will be polite and run with them. It's my choice not to enjoy making already long runs even longer, just as it is your choice to elect not to get sound. Do not stink me or anyone else for exercising our option of choosing to do the majority (or in some cases, all) of our long runs with other sounding toons.

Sorry to the non-sounder that just went into the Back 9 with me and the other black cat. I was willing to run the entire thing, even as painful as it already was on the first two floors, but truth be told, I am glad the other toon left. That would have been an extremely long and frustrating 2 hour run for me.

I'm soundless and totally understand how you wouldn't want to make a really long DA d even longer by going with a soundless. I wouldn't ask that of my sound friends and certainly wouldn't expect it from unknown toons. I see other non-sound toons maxing law quickly and really don't know how they get all those notices.

As far as the other toon ditching the soundless, it happens a lot. I don't even bother trying to go in the bullion anymore with the exception of friends who don't mind me being there. Haven't even attempted a six yet alone a back nine, lol.

FYI, sound DOES miss on lured cogs. I've seen it happen too often.

If not all the cogs are lured, yes it can. (i.e. 3 cogs are lured, one isn't, sound misses.)
But, to my knowledge, sound can't miss on ALL lured cogs.

i'm a soundless toon!
I get griefed for it endlessly, but idc. It's not like YOU play MY toon.
I was waiting by the bullion in Nutty River one time, and I asked this toon.. not gonna say the name.. but he was a dog with the big mouth. I say "Hi there! Let's go in the Mint!"
He doesn't respond to so I just wait for others. Then, he whispers to me, "I think this is too risky for you. I think you should choose Sound."
I think that's a really cowardly thing to do, if you have something to say to a toon, you don't whisper it so no one else knows. So I turn around and say "Hey! I heard that! That wasn't nice!"

First of all, he was a 90 something laffer and only his sound was maxxed.
Everything was in levels 2-4.
I was and still am a 106 and maxxed 3/6. And he thinks he has the right to I'm not a nice person if someone insults me, so I tell him out loud, "I think this is too risky for you. This isn't what you need. Ha ha!"
Then he says "Sorry!"

I do think many toons overeact and refuse to go with soundless. However if we are running short on time and are attempting a longer run, its some what expected that somone would avoid a soundless.
Also like a Tu-less should usually have a maxed doodle a soundless should have lvl7's/SOS to spare.

I have 3 soundless friends Jellyroll Featherflap is the first he's awesome then Loopy Goopy Zooblefingers super smart my last one is Prince J.C. Wackyface incredible. If you are a good player soundless shouldn't slow u down and u should not hesitate to run with them what upsets me the most is trying to help them in long runs and getting ditched it's so rude. If anyone sees these 3 ppl I mentioned you should never hesitate to run with them they all ROCK!

I have seen sound miss on cogs that were ALL lured.

1) Sometimes I pass, but other times I don't, but that is because it is usually in the mints where they use foghorns all the time and if my lure misses, the sound may have more chance to miss. I'm still waiting for my hypno goggles.

2) Now, that's true. That's why drop is awesome!!

3) Some toons are generous, but I can never tell if they have enough sound unless they say that they need more gags. It's a risk to take. :P

I actually think that it is pretty much the same length in the golf courses with or without sound. That is if you work together and you have lure. I have only been rejected once when I didn't have sound from a toon I shall not name.
