I'm not sure if there's a thread like this but here it goes.

How many toons think the Pink slips have gotten way much better than they were when they first came out?

IMO they got way much better. Whats your opinion?

what do you mean better?? every time I ceo I get 1 pink slip and it fires 1 cog. as far as I know that is the way it has always been. accept on test.

What I mean by better are that now you don't need 12 to defeat a lvl 12 or even a v2 cog just one. And they get way much better when you start getting more. keep doing those CEOs and slowly those 1,2,3, and even 4 slips will slowly start to add up and you'll see clearly what I mean by better

You can fire basically any cog.

I wonder if you can get 5 slips...

You can get 1-5 pink slips. See the dog fathers thread about cog suit difficulty. The higher the suits the more cogs you need to feed and the more pink slips you get. The highest one is right now 4 but there hasn't ben 8 level 20+ big chesses in one elevator I think. If so I think they'd get 4 pink slips.

I certainly think Pink Slips are better now than they were when it required twelve to kill a Level 12 Cog, but they are still not as powerful as the other rewards. For that reason I'm more frugal with Pink Slips than I am with SOS Toons, Unites, and Summons.

What on earth are u all talking about?? I have used my pink slips - usually on lvl 12 cog in ceo battles. I currently have 7 pink slips and I am lvl 8 micromanager. So I was trying to figure out what everyone is talking about here, lol.

BTW I hate being a micromanager- I am so small that everyone runs over me when we are feeding the cogs :-(.

Lets go back to test.. The first few updates didn't even have a reward, you just won the ceo, so everyone was wondering if it would be worth it. Then ceo started giving pink slips.. You got one pink slip every battle, but it took 12 slips to fire a level 12 cog, took your turn for the round and that was it. 12 45 minute battles to fire one cog. So it was classified as worthless and needing to be fixed. On a later update, disney listened, shock i know, and made the ceo give multiple pink slips, people were getting many more, but still took 1 per level of cog to fire.

So it looked a tad better.. The one thing i wish we had from that time period, when you hit the fire button, it would tell you the level's of the cog, i.e. how many slips it would take to fire. This was a nice feature for the cog levels not being seen above thier heads.

Anyways, when it went to open, it took only one slip to fire any cog and they did away with the level finder .

So now, people still thought it was worthless cause it's a weak reward, not a every cog attack, or a restock/heal or a invasion (read make running twice as fast). It was the weakest reward on paper, the question is..

Now that we've seen how they can benefit us, do we feel better about having them.

They are still a novelty, see the post on firing and entire 9 hole, but at the same time they are fun/helpful, firing the first cog after the banquet. and they are good when you are frustrated, i.e., lure has missed twice, I'm done with you!!! fire!!

anyhow.. i think we've found good uses for them..

after everything is maxed tho, i'm still going cfo marathoning, then vp marathoning and then fill up cj and ceo books..

CFO = help you and everyone else
VP = usually help you and everyone else
CJ = help friends who need merit type items
CEO = fun, small help

The only real value I've seen in pink slips, other than sheer novelty, is that lvl 12 that comes out the first round in the VP. If you have an uber there beside you, you can guarantee his safety even easier than if you had used a toons always hit card.

I've also had them used when two level 11 minglers come out (lure notoriously misses on those, and then they do two -24 hits)...very nice to ensure uber safety.

Otherwise, pink slips are really the most useless of the rewards. Disney really bombed with this one. IMHO...
