I think you are over-reacting just a little. About the first one who was rude and saying pick this and pick that , they probley new what they were doing and new what to would kill the cogs. Some people take things more sireusly then others.

There is likely 2 sides to this story BUT it sounds like the bossy mouse was trying to lead the battle and we all know that doesn't always work well. IMO the best toons are the ones able to think on the fly and adapt to other toons styles of play. Granted, that in the CEO theres not much room for error as gags can get low very quickly (especially with cheese tables) its still no reason to get all stinky on someone. Theres always a way to kill a cog even if it takes a TU in between hits.
As for the TU's... I find it best to just not rely on them being there. If you expect the TU to be there you will be disappointed more often than not. Make sure you a unite or 2 just in case ![]() |

Everybody who does that stuff deserves to be hit in the face with a raw meat patty. Sorry that happened to you.

Yes, I agree. I have had a lot of lag lately and sometimes I can't see what cog someone is picking- only what gag they are going to use. So I do my best in strategy but I still got bullied by some toons. Are you new here, etc... I just play on...
Also with the snack hogs- I try to stay at least half of what my laff is (108) and I understand that the Toons on the seltzer bottles are more at risk for damage and leave snacks for everyone. |

Another thing to consider that happened in my last ceo:
We went with 3 large suits and the rest were smaller, random toons in Nutty River. Even with a small number of large suits, we had Big Cheeses and extra tables. In the feeding round, a majority of the toons were feeding the cogs closest the fireplace and would not stay on the same table. In this instance, I will tell you "Feed the same cog again" and in which direction to go. We had many unneccessary cogs angry and left over at the end, which just prolongs the battle and strains remaining gags. I'm not trying to be bossy or control the battle, but when toons don't work as a team we end up with more cogs left over. That being said, there are also toons that try to control the entire battle, beginning with gag selection to your occupation when battling the CEO. You will encounter people like this no matter what, just try to have patience and get through the battle the best you can. My best suggestion for toon up is to monitor your own laffs and set a limit of how low you are willing go and when you feel it is necessary to go to the conveyor belt. The best strategy I have seen others use is staying tooned up in the beginning. Most of the time the snacks will accumulate and fall off the belt. If you don't see anyone taking them and no one appears low on laffs, keep yourself at a higher laff during this period. For those toons that stay at the belts, there really isn't much you can do except work towards getting those precious TU unites from the CFO and only using them when absolutely necessary. I hope this helps give some perspective into other toons' point of view, but remember sometimes it is difficult to understand the reasons behind their behavior or strategy. Just try to be patient, help others when possible and enjoy the game no matter what. After all, we are here for fun! Kristine |

It depends on the situation. Nobody should have to control toons with 100 or more laff or cashbot ubers. They're supposed to know what to do, although obviously a lot of them don't.
In the VP it would be different. A lot of toons there have limited or no experience with lines of high level cogs, and they're going to need some guidance and possibly need things spelled out for them. |

I can kinda understand the mouse because s/he could probably argue her side, however, for the toon up hoggers thats beyond me. I hate them and really cant understand them. I'm 10 laff but no you, you with 100 laff you take that treasure you defintely need it more than I do. Come on, now... BUT sorry that happened to you ![]() |

Welcome to the club. That same thing happened to me when i was a Flunky.
We have "Toon" and Human Rights. What I can say is, Aas long your 100+ you dont need Toon-ups. If your down to half laff points(Half way sad) or less than 30, you will need Toon-Ups. Also, carry some Toon-Up Unites, and use the golf tees. There will always be hoggers, and bossy toons. They just think they 're All That. |

I only had 1 bad CEO and that was due to a bossy green dog 117 LP. He wouldn't let anyone golf, that just made him angry, second of his fetish was not letting anyone get snacks, he seem to have spent all his efforts on telling others they can't golf and they can't get snacks. Well needess to say 3 died even tho I used up my last 3 tu unites on them, which btw also made him mad, then me and 1 other had to bail, cause that CEO battle was a lost cause, it's a shame there are idiots like that.

With the current lag in boss im not sure anyone can tell what others are picking for gags. I run two toons in the boss golf courses and i cant see what each of my toons have picked many times with the other toon. It seems to me the same thing is happening in the ceo cog battles?
But after saying that when you see a toon working gags in any of the boss battles it usually gets someone upset. Many of the tt phrases that they give us can mean diff things to diff people. Since we dont get "I think a gag that would do the job would have been a better pick" we have to use "are you new here" or "have you been here before". It doesnt mean the person just said that you were stupid. I will confess that many times i like to mess with toons in the cogs rounds, but if we all leave tooned up dont take the kidding so serious(ive got two toons to headhunter and ive not seen a toon go sad in cog round). As for the snacks that should be for toons that are getting to a low laff....Just be glad they wont let me bring my pirate sword to the ceo.......Bob P.S. I should have added that most of the play ive seen in the ceo fights after the first few days have been very good. And I've not seen the infighting over gag selection that some have seen.(well there was that one time i used lipstick on a toon that didnt need heal and her bf hissed at me).LOL bob Last edited by slowmover; 03-30-2008 at 05:55 PM. i've gone through about 2 CEO's and lost both.
the first one, i REALLY had to go because it was a late night CCG run and my dad was gonna explode if I didn't get off. LOL the second one was in Nutty River. and let me tell you, some Big Cheeses and Corporate Raiders in there are cowards. They are NOT satisfied if a Flunky levels 1-5 gets on. Me and my sf, Callie, were having SUCH a hard time, and we finally got in with 2 Big Cheeses. In the last round, I was losing 3/4 of my laff and I had no TU unite phrases (very dumb thing to do), so I take some snacks from the conveyor belt and this 125 laffer yells at me "Stop that!", so ya know.. I stop. And then she comes by the conveyor belt and takes all the snacks! She had 71/125 laff and telling ME to save it. I had about 20 something that time. The two Big Cheeses, including that 125 laffer went to the back and alt f4-ed. and we were SO close to victory! he had a red light on! xD oh, well. there's always next time. And now I have TU unite phrases. ![]() |

That's Crazy!!
We all have to get at LEAST 100 laff points, obtain a Lawbot suit, and a bossbot suit (not to mention we have to get cashbot, or we won't complete DDL). So 3 suits should show how good we are (Bossbot suit shows you own Lawbot and Cashbot, some may even have sellbot.) I only have Flunky level 3 in 2 weeks is because i also have... Level 19 Mr. Hollywood, Level 9 Robber Baron, and Spin Doctor Level 6 (and I rotate, until recently, because i should finish sellbot). The Point is, The CCG is not Much needed because of lots of laff (Gags are another story.)
Flunky = AT LEAST 100 Laff!! My self: Flunky Lvl 3 = 110 laff (Preety powerful) All maxed gags (Dropless) See, The Biggest mistake is Judging by suit. (we can have a 132 laff all maxed but bossbot I.e. Dogfather, and NOT get accepted.) Besides, they may not be F4ing, they may have disconnected (like on one battle of mine). I was disconnected. NOT F4ing. (during second round) |
