Avoiding Some of the CEO Lag?

With alot of others, I've experienced that lag or freezing on the seltzer table when trying to exit in the CEO. I don't know if this will help others, but it's helped me avoid alot of hits and subsequent laff loss.

As soon as the CEO yells "Fore!", immediately hit and release the "Escape" key, then quickly hit the "Control" and "Down Arrow" keys to jump back off the table. I had not been releasing the "Escape" key right away and was pressing the "Control" and "Down Arrow" keys while still holding the "Escape" key - I didn't even realize I was doing it until I caught myself doing it.

It took a few battles to get into the habit of immediately releasing the "Escape" key completely, then quickly hitting the the "Control" and "Down Arrow" keys, but once I did, I've not (yet) experienced the "freezing" on the table. In the last few battles, I've gotten hit 3 times for a total laff loss of 45 in each battle, and I never had to get any toon-up (compared to getting as low as 1 laff during the seltzer round after a "freeze"). To experiment a bit, I went so far as playing my own little game of "chicken" while the CEO was rolling toward me and jumped off when he got close with no "freezing".

I do agree that there are bugs and lag in the CEO, and that still may be alot of the problem, but a change in the way I hit the keyboard helped me alot.
