Middle 6's:

42 minutes
43 minutes
47 minutes (gag misses; sound ran out; 1 toon disconnected-3 finished)
42 minutes
40 minutes

All with 4 toons except where 1 disconnected as noted.

Thanks everyone for posting your run times! I did a quck analysis and added it to my original post (check out those nifty bar charts!). I'll continue to refine that analysis if more times are posted.

In summary, I believe that 7 Back 9 runs are faster than 13 Middle 6 runs. But that's assuming things go well. They often don't. And there are many reasons besides theoretical run time to consider when deciding on which strategy you want to use.

Nice analysis. I do agree with you that a Back 9 does take a few minutes less than 2 Middle 6s. I am still leaning more towards doing all those Middle 6s due to time constraints I might have. I am still content in knowing that I can log off of TT in about 40 min (doing 1 Middle 6) than knowing I am stuck for 70 min in a Back 9. Plus, I also like the few minute break I get in between 2 Middle 6s, even though overall that will take me 1 hour longer to get 23,300 SO (based on your analysis). Burn out is the last thing I want, and I do believe that a few minutes in change of scenery can make all the difference.

This information is not for your analysis, but because I've seen alot of apprehension about going through the courses with 3 toons (or less than 4) and even soundless toons for that matter, for the heck of it, I ran two toons through the Back 9 myself for curiosity. It took 2 hours & 12 minutes, bearing in mind that I ran both toons - one at a time - through the course.

The moles were easy, I ran through the hedges for the mazes, and I didn't make about half of the cog ball games (I had one game left to go on the ones I missed). Between both toons, I used 1 Railroad, 2 Wedding Cakes, 2 Geysers, 2 Operas, and I used one Gag-up All toward the end.

I certainly wouldn't want do it again because of the length of time involved, nor would I suggest it. I do think that it wouldn't take much more time to go through the Back 9 start-to-finish with 3 toons than it would with 4.
