Tuning in the courses

Please stop tuning us up in the boss courses.

It takes so long and delays the round, and it's totally needless. Please don't use tune up in the courses.

I realize that with four toons facing one left over v2 level 10, you feel uncomfortable passing, and maybe you are panicing as you look for a gag, any gag, that you can select. Skip it, hit the pass button.

If you are on a three and that one leftover cog bothers you so much, double fog and take him out on the first round and your team can go their merry way down to the next puzzle where you will all recieve all the free tune up that you want...without wasting time to get it.

Completion of each and every puzzle comes with a bonus tune up for the team...that's 9 free tune ups in a front three, 18 in the mid 6, 27 in the back nine.

If toons would stop tuning with gags and all the time it takes to watch them dance or juggle or dust and dance and all...you'd arrive at a puzzle actually needing a few points and see the pleasant +20 to 40 over your head and know it wasn't necessary to take team time tuning....nobody was gonna die.

As our stock options needed rises into high numbers, the length of time it takes to tune with every cog set will add up and make a difference.

I understand that there's an unwritten courtesy to leave with all toons full of laff...but I think in Boss HQ, Disney has taken care of it for us. Let's enjoy this bonus feature, and put it to use.

If i have nothing else to chose from and someone needs a TU, i'll use it. Mainly because i do need the points after accidentally clicking the TU ladder in CEO when only one person was missing 9 laff points. Gotta love lag and the ability to not change after everyone has picked. If theres no invasion, i don't see what the problem is.

I hear you and I support you 100 percent. From here out I will no longer use toonup while running a course...NEVER!

I have often thought about starting a support group for the Toonup overusers out there.

I have the Chairwoman picked out, just working on some dates for the first meeting.

I look at it this way.. If you can't safely take the hits from all four cogs then toon up. It has nothing to do with invasions,
its about the time it takes to complete a back nine. Now I've only done two so I'm no expert.
One was without toon up, and the second we used a good bit of toon up. The time difference between the two was noticeable.
When someone needs the 23k stock options, I'm sure they are going to want out quickly.

I never know what to do with tu. I personally love getting low in laff and have no problems with passing on the tu. However, toons cry for tu so many times that I tend to pick it where possible (when all gags picked will take care of the cog(s)) without even thinking. Wish they included the phrase "Don't panic! We will get tu when we complete the puzzles" lol

It won't happen because you get a TU every time you complete the puzzles. Obviously if someone is really low in laff you'd tu. There just isn't a need to tu for every round of cogs just because you are down a few lp's.

Well, I personally just do not understand this thread... I have no shame in admitting that I take pride in knowing I keep my group tooned. It is just common courtesy, and I only hope that my group will keep me tooned as well. You never know when you're going to miss a puzzle, then all of a sudden that toon you thought didn't need a TU could miss a couple of puzzles by mistake or lag, and all of a sudden he is out 40 laff. Plus, with BBHQ so new you can't count on not running into a bug that takes MORE than 20 laff off, or perhaps going into a battle and your TU missing once you DO try to toon the person.

I don't see the big deal, because it really doesn't take very long to toon someone up, and when you're with experienced toons you shouldn't have to do it often. I also have a little agreement towards the poster above me, now that you have said this what if someone decides not to toon you up at all, you get down more laff than expected, and somehow die or have to make SURE you win the puzzles so you DON'T die? It's a possibility.. We all have the way we like to play, but you better not run with me because I WILL keep you tooned.. I am used to that style of play, and I am not in so much of a hurry to max BBHQ that I am going to allow my group to suffer...

I agree, TU is a waste of time.

From the 20-40 laff points you can recieve by each maze, the laff you recieve in cogball and mole stomp, who needs TU. Each floor gives you more than enough.

I'd rather not spend an extra 5 minutes in a back nine because of TU.

I've seen the mole stomp completion give 20 pts.
I've seen the maze give more than 20 but I don't know the top limit on it.
I've seen the cog ball completion, even if you never won one of the puzzles in it give 39.
That is 80 pts of tune up per floor to be given to toons that are usually well over 100 laff.

These tune ups are freebees from Disney developers. I, for one, appreciate it, and plan to use them gratefuly.

Save 15-20 seconds, keep your 15 pt. cane in your bag.

This is not a complaint against tune up in any way. I love it. I use it all the time on any toon who needs it.

It's a strategy for saving time, just in the cog courses, for those toons who like 15 min. bullions, 20-25 min. D offices, and don't enjoy mints with gag workers who drop every set, take damage every set, tune up every set, and it takes the team an hour.

Lol-I love it. I think we are all used to doing the right thing and leaving no toon untuned. However, I agree with the OP. Once in a while Id love to see the cog puzzles give me a TU. I can already see how monotonous these courses are going to become and Im all for making them as quick as possible.

I even like the idea of taking some hits in CEO for a few rounds before tuning up. We are all big laffers in there-no reason we need to be topped off on laff constantly. I trust my team to make sure I finish the battle fully tuned.

I totally agree. I would much rather save time by not tuning at every little laff point lost. New HQ means new strategies. No tune up needed in the courses!

I've tested how much it can actually give in one Back Nine and actually recieved from 50 to 70 each time.

All the more the reason to save you're 15 seconds and your 15 TU cane, and just kill off the cogs.
