First thing is to calm down. Second thing is to listen how I do it if you like:

1. I calm down.

4. I tell myself that I'm going to win or give it my all no matter the cost. Even if it is a virtual game...
5. I go in there and pay attention to the cog rounds, trying to not lose that much laff but make sure teamwork is enforced as well.
6. I serve the cogs...

8. Decide what I'm going to do and stick to it, dodging the Fore!'s by clicking escape and holding the down arrow (down and left if golfing).
9. I repeat step 8.
9 1/2- I make sure my laff is pretty high but let the less fortunate have the treats.
10. The result appears, did I win or lose?

Just build you confidence and go in with friends. It helps to have someone help you.
Also, if you are losing a lot in a row, I would just take a break. Do a CFO here and there and then try again.
