A draft guide was posted several days before it came to open. I was expecting a better pictorial guide to come but the first draft is worth reading also.

Mods, could you sticky this?

How much damage the CEO does to the toons seems way excessive in comparison to how much laff boost toons get from the goodies being served.
Is there any way we can toon each other up, like if we hit each other with setlzer bottle or golf balls? Something OTHER than Unites...cause getting those from Cashbot HQ is difficult. I always get Gag ups and jelly beans, or maybe the occasional 20 pt toon up. And 20 points just wont do the job!

TY again for the guide!
Just came out of a CEO a total loser because 1) the other toons bailed during the battle; 2) the battle ran too long so there were no more tu's on the conveyor; 3) the other toon and I ran out of tu's (we probably used 4 between the 2 of us). The damage is way out of proportion in my opinion and we cannot use anything other than tu's and the little bit of food on the conveyor. I believe some of the test toons told the developers that but apparently they did not listen. On the other hand, if everyone stayed and had enough tu's available maybe we would have a better chance. Comments?

Thanks for the guide.

I agree that the damage done by the "FORE" is way too much considering the only TU's are from the foods at 1-4 laff points each.

Does anyone know if it is important WHERE the water and/or golf balls hit the CEO? I'm using a Mac and can't seem to aim the balls and/or water up to hit his face (like we need to do with the pies and the VP). Just wondered if this is a problem that I need to find a work about for with my Mac or if any hit to his body counts.

It should hit the CEO anywhere, however, it is difficult to hit the upper carriage because of the risers holding his head are small. Anywhere else that gives a smoke cloud is scoring a hit. The ball can miss the risers easily, especially when he is moving. Lead him a bit in the direction he is moving to score a hit.

It does not matter where the golf balls hit him as long as the color smoke of your golf ball shows when it hits the CEO. For example, if you are using the red golf ball, the color of the smoke when your golf ball hits the CEO should be red, signaling it was a good shot that effected the CEO.

Battle Stages:

When the battle reaches 20 min. the CEO says it's time to downsize, and you hear a little explosion. One of the conveyor belts stops giving tune up snacks. The damage rises from -15 to -19.

At 30 min. he downsizes again. The explosion sound indicates the second conveyor belt will no long offer tune up snacks. The CEO damage increases again.

(When soloing the vp and cfo, I've noticed that without a formal boss anouncement, the battle goes up a notch in difficulty at those same time intervals. I'm glad the CEO warns us that we're leveling up.)

Gear Hits:
I sure hope it's a bug, cuz I've reported it as one, but the gears are very important to jump out of the way from. I was in a battle at the advanced stage of damage and one gear hit took -39 laff (I was shocked! I think I'm remembering the number right.) Seconds later he hit me again with gears and sent me to the playground green. That hit showed -33 over my head...cuz my laff wasn't high enough to sustain the full amount. I went from the 70s to green in seconds...not enugh time to find the unite chat phrase or even to alt to save level 7s.

Dog Father, your guide is well done and appreciated.

Awesome guide!

Thanks, Dogfather, for your excellent guide. Now, if I could only win one of the CEO battles. When I press ESC, my toon freezes, and I can't do anything but lose laff. I have to use ALT + F4 to escape, and then my computer shuts down. I sent a bug report to TT, but I think my computer just hates Bossbot HQ. Am I the only one who can't play the CEO battle?

Suggestions

I would add a few things to golf.
One - Make sure you only use the strength of shot you need.. when he is just starting, use 3/4 shot. when he is in the front two rows of tables or close to your side, use a "chip" shot by just tapping the control key. kinda like we do in vp and cj. When he is in the back row of tables or the oposite side (if you're on a side tee), use a quarter to third power. It matters how many times you hit him, not how hard you hit him.

two - Also, for the people on the tables, try to keep using the three tables closest to golf, that way when he targets a table, he is in chip shot range..

Three - start with four on golf, after his is red and noticibly slow, one can move to seltzer and then it frees a tee up for when someone is low, they don't have to beg for a tee. three can keep him red, especially if you get short shots on the close tables.

On food, when you are first starting on golf, you get targeted more than later in the game, get your food now before the setlzer people are looking for it later - i.e. don't let the food fall on the floor idea
