What should I concentrate on while waiting to get a steel rod?

I have been following the less is more philosophy and have gotten all I can with my 2 day old Hardwood rod except for the the Twig ultras and the Holey Mackerel.

Should I fish a lot over the next month and try to catch some of the Ultras now or just work on catching the Holey Mackerel and wait for the steel rod to become available? Btw, my toon is in the Brrrgh at 60 laff.

I am also a believer of the less is more theory and I would recommend getting all 60 before you get the steel rod. I did this on Black Leopard and it made it a lot easier. But once you get to the last few fish It's tough no matter what rod you have. Good Luck!

Also, I am in the same situation as you! I have 54 fish on my CFO on my Hardwood Rod, and am currently waiting for the Steel Rod. I planned to fish now that I have maxxed GSW and HQ's so now while waiting for my Steel Rod I am looking for Wholly Mackeral, Baby Grand Piano Tuna, and Old King Crab(Grrrr, I hate this fish!). I was planning to make 120 laff by the time of Law HQ, which may not happen(But, I might get some luck with fishing).
