if your serious about your fishing, you want a stategy.
i.e fish 2 buckets a pond only 1 donalds dock lighthouse lane (crab and trout) 2 minnies tenor terrace (baby grand) 3 daisys (sea horses) 4 daisys elm street (siamese) 5 brghh or dreamland (full moon or grizzly/concorde) this gives you about 10 buckets, takes about 20 mins then change district. do this as many times as you can in a day say 3 times that gives you 1 hour of fishing and 30 buckets. fish your estate for the all star and holey mackral on bingo days, you should get to 63/64 in 2 weeks. then the fun starts

You need 2 more fish for a Laff Point. I'd recommend camping on the Lighthouse Lane pond to get the two fish listed above. Both of them are listed as "Very Rare" in Batleth's guide, and my own experience has more or less confirmed that... it shouldn't take you more than an hour or two of fishing to get them, if that long, unless you are very unlucky. Those are the first two I'd go for, in your situation. I generally fish from the pier next to the rightmost one, as it seems to have the best coverage of the Lighthouse Lane pond. As far as the Holey Mackerel and the Clydesdale and Arabian Sea Horses go, you could hit your estate pond on a Bingo Wednesday... when it's actually convenient to fish there! I'd wager you could pare that 12 down to 7 with a few hours of fishing at the right place and time! And then... as Mick said... the real fun begins! Because the REST of the fish on your list are extremely rare or ultra rare, with the Siamese Cat Fish (go for it on Elm Street in DG) being a possible exception -- Batleth has it listed as Very Rare, but I've been playing TT for about 2 years and only caught it for the first time earlier tonight... not for lack of trying! (Incidentally, I've had no trouble getting the Clydesdale and Arabian on other big Toons of mine. With the introduction of Bingo, it's even easier to get them on the Estate than it was back when I did it on my older big Toons, when you had to traipse back to the Playground to sell fish after each bucket!) |

I have a gold rod. I'm about to go fish for those 2 in Lighthouse Lane. Thanks.
