Fishing all day.. and NOTHING.

I need 7 more fish. Haha might as well join the club but I figured you could help me. I looked through the fishing guides here, and fished for the fish i needed at the recommended ponds, for hours, and hours.. and hours.. and some more hours, well I was close to jumping off a bridge.

If you have caught any of the fish below (that i need) please if you remember tell me which pond you caught it in (including a street if you caught it at a street) and about how long you fished at the pond to get it.

1. Concord Grape PB&J Fish
2. Siamese Cat Fish
3. All Star Fish
4. Full Moon Fish
5. Grizzly Bear Acuda
6. Baby Grand Piano Tuna
7. Grand Piano Tuna

I can't take it anymore!!!

if your serious about your fishing, you want a stategy.
i.e
fish 2 buckets a pond only
1 donalds dock lighthouse lane (crab and trout)
2 minnies tenor terrace (baby grand)
3 daisys (sea horses)
4 daisys elm street (siamese)
5 brghh or dreamland (full moon or grizzly/concorde)
this gives you about 10 buckets, takes about 20 mins then change district.
do this as many times as you can in a day say 3 times that gives you 1 hour of fishing and 30 buckets. fish your estate for the all star and holey mackral on bingo days, you should get to 63/64 in 2 weeks. then the fun starts

Just my two cents here:

You need 2 more fish for a Laff Point. I'd recommend camping on the Lighthouse Lane pond to get the two fish listed above. Both of them are listed as "Very Rare" in Batleth's guide, and my own experience has more or less confirmed that... it shouldn't take you more than an hour or two of fishing to get them, if that long, unless you are very unlucky. Those are the first two I'd go for, in your situation. I generally fish from the pier next to the rightmost one, as it seems to have the best coverage of the Lighthouse Lane pond.

As far as the Holey Mackerel and the Clydesdale and Arabian Sea Horses go, you could hit your estate pond on a Bingo Wednesday... when it's actually convenient to fish there!

I'd wager you could pare that 12 down to 7 with a few hours of fishing at the right place and time! And then... as Mick said... the real fun begins! Because the REST of the fish on your list are extremely rare or ultra rare, with the Siamese Cat Fish (go for it on Elm Street in DG) being a possible exception -- Batleth has it listed as Very Rare, but I've been playing TT for about 2 years and only caught it for the first time earlier tonight... not for lack of trying!

(Incidentally, I've had no trouble getting the Clydesdale and Arabian on other big Toons of mine. With the introduction of Bingo, it's even easier to get them on the Estate than it was back when I did it on my older big Toons, when you had to traipse back to the Playground to sell fish after each bucket!)

I took your advice. I caught the Scurvy Cutthroat Trout, and the Old King Crab in Lighthouse Lane in just about 40 mins. Thanks a lot. I need 10 more fish, I'll fish again on wednesday. I got my laffboost

Well, it is important where you fish. You might have been fishing in the rong spots. But, you may just have had bad luck.

2. Siamese Cat Fish Elm Street pond Caught ten or so
3. All Star Fish anywhere caught two
4. Holy Mackeral Estate is best, fish on Bingo Wednesday caught bunches
5. Full Moon Fish Lullabye Lane caught one
6. The Clydesdale Sea Horse Estate is best, fish on Bingo Wednesday, caught bunches
7. Arabian Sea Horse Estate is best, fish on Bingo Wednesday, caught bunches
8. Grizzly Bear Acuda Brrrgh, never caught
9. Baby Grand Piano Tuna Tenor Terrace caught ten or so

What rod do you have? If you are using Twig rod, no chance. bamboo rod noc chance for some. Hardwood you have better chance. Steel is the bst answer. then Gold obviosuly.

Best have steel for some of these.

1. Concord Grape can't be caught anywhere. Only in TB or DDL. Best places are the playground ponds.
