Yes, I've noticed this as well. Many times, it happens when a Toon enters the playground (or wherever) I'm fishing, so I assume it has something to do with the little burst of lag generated when a Toon enters an area.
I will say I also have a very slow PC, by 2006 standards. I wonder whether folks with newer, faster computers have the same little hitches and pauses and lagbursts that I experience whenever my Toontown client detects a new Toon in my Toon's area... and the same difficulties with fishing that result. What I do, when I find myself in a playground (or other area) that has a lot of traffic, is move to a quieter district so that I won't have so much trouble getting casts to stick as they're supposed to. |

I don't think thats it with me. My comp doesn't freeze or anything, It just won't catch fish. I can do it on streets no matter how busy they r, just when i cast in the playground the fish like ignore it.

Or maybe the fish thinks It's another person trying to catch it. LOL. nvm about that. Well, I went to a busier place, it happened, then i did something, that showed me why this happened. It's a glitch, that makes the Game Graphics waaaaaaaaaaaaay Simple. So simple that the circles in pond turn to white squares. Now, say you are in that mode. Sometimes when you hit the white square, surrounding your cast is a little circle of water. that basically means like, well you hit it, but you didn't REALLY touch get it. I don't understand it either.
