Is this rarities suspension true?

Can anybody confirm this:

Bingo! This is great with friends. Also, this is quite the way to fish, because when playing bingo the Rarities go out the window.

Not at all. It's more along the lines of a misconception by people fishing. I've checked the ratity values for most of the species during Bingo. Excluding the ultras due to lack of data. They're the same. Bingo does draw more people to fishing on those days that normally wouldn't fish. Plus, they tend to fish longer than most days. This will of course increase their chances of catching a new species just because they are fishing and fishing more..lol. This is a case of the human brain trying to find some simple logical reasonings to an almost impossible task. Because they caught a new species on Bingo day, that day stands out more in their memory than a normal day they just happen to be fishing on. Therefore, some believe it's just because of Bingo that they caught that new species..lol. It's all kind of funny on a psychological point of view.

I went to the district where another toon was fishing tot the tune of 15,000 fish once again and lo and behold I caught the Baby Grand within 10 minutes in Zippetyham after he posted he caught his 70th fish there yesterday.
The day Melissa caught the Full Moon and the Concord on Lil Mel, she was in the district where the Top Fishing Toon was as well.
When Fluffy Jr was doing his marathon fishing was the last time I fished and I fished beside him and caught my last ultra rare, again within 10 minutes.

On BINGO Day as Batleth said, you have a ton of toons fishing therefore increasing your odds mathematically of catching those ultra rares and I tell everyone I know it's my personal opinion based on mathematical logic that they should absolutely fish during BINGO because they greatly increase their chances. If you recall Bugs Rabbit, Aunti Di and several other 117 toons ALL CAUGHT their final fish during BINGO as I remember seeing the Bingo card on their posts so....... that was proof to me that fishing during Bingo absolutely made sense and when I get ready to catch these final few I surely intend to do my fishing on a Wednesday and I may never get 117 as I refuse to spend 10-12 hours a day doing this dreadful task, I simply don't have the dedication others do to this "TASK"- but that's just me!! Those are compelling facts. I've thought that a good idea for Disney to implement would be that chances for catching rare fish are increased on a pond where a toon currently fishing has already caught those respective fish. However my experience, anecdotal as it is, says otherwise: A friend of mine was looking for a relatively common fish on LL in DDL and I'd already caught this fish (and I was there fishing with her), yet it took her 3-4 buckets where it should have come in the first one. Is that scientific and conclusive: No, I'm not saying it is. I'm just relaying my experience that relates to this.

The logic is only sound if others' albums affect what can be caught on any given pond. I'd love to know that this is the case!

But as Batleth pointed out, it could be due to them fishing more on Wednesdays...or perhaps only on Wednesdays. I'm missing 6 fish and have all the jellies I'll ever need. There is no way you'll ever see me fishing on that toon on anything but Bingo days because Bingo I find fun; fishing I find not.

I had/have semi-happily resigned myself to the fact that I'll never have all the fish because, like you, I'm not prepared to devote the amount of time to it that it would require just to say he's complete when I could be doing other things that I find infinitely more enjoyable. If what you're saying is the case then perhaps there is hope for getting all the fish after all.

By the way, I just want you to know, I caught the Devil Ray and the Siamese that day -NOT the fish you were looking for...I went to your district thinking the odds were better as I'd seen you on Top Toon several days and within 10 minutes I caught those two and several others like the florence and Arabian and Bull Dog on other toons- I do not have more than 65 on ANY TOON however I believe whole heartedly the way I got this many in such minimal time on each toon was by fishing when someone like you was in the same district- another example- Midnight Magic caught the grizzly on sons toons and I went and fished with her in Brrr for 30 minutes on several toons and caught the Devil Ray on 2 the Kodiac and went home and caught the Holey Mackrel and several others by staying in same district she was in. I also did it when my friend Santos was Top Tooning on Leviticus Maximus and again caught numerous extremely rares in his district.

IT COULD ALL BE COINICIDENCE however it worked for me to get my toons all 7 of them in the 61-66 range- now comes the hard part ROFL if and when I decide to catch those final 4-6 really hard ones I bet I come up against the same momentous odds as you guys have and I simply cannot force myself to fish for more than 1/2 hour without being completely disenchanted so it appears I will not be EVER joining the list of 70 fish Toons- FOR NOW..and I don't know how to get to Goofy's SPeedway on most my Toons- ROFL- Hunter has a Roadster on test- 1 on each account- and if he wants one on open- he's gonna have to do that - not me, not for now anyway- perhaps when they are all finally maxxed , I'll reside myself to fishing and driving but for now, I'm busy Fighting Cogs!!
