68 with steel

Anyone get all 69 possible with steel rod yet?

The bulldog fish needs the gold rod to catch it. You can find it fairly easy in DD or your estate.

Concord is pretty hard to catch and I wouldn't save this species for your last one to catch. Camp out in TB or DDL for that species. More have been caught in TB playground than any other location.

I'm amazed you have the patience to collect 68 with the steel. I liked my steel rod and used it for a long time but I was getting impatient because I wasn't getting any new fish so I took the gold out of the box and fished up to 60 pretty quick.

Let us know if you catch the concord with your steel. You are tops in my book.

Off Topic: Hey, I know you have a laff bug and are probally 117 right now or your really close. Do you think you'll get laff point with all 70 fish? So that would make you 118. That'd be awesome.

I believe, I read where someone had a laff glitch and got all 70 species and it didn't give them a laff boost for their 70th species. Though this was before CashHQ was released. I don't recall if they were Holly50 or not.

He is HW 50 and RB 40 117 laff the bug wont let him go to RB 50 and he wont get the laff point from getting to 70 fish so dont waste ur time.

That doesnt sound very nice , and for your information the status he is giving is on his other toon, so yes he will get a laff point.

i've been through about 1200 buckets so far just for the concord, caught all-star last week.
i Know the bull dog is only a gold rod catch.
This is on my black cat, i nev er needed the fish on main toon so never bothered to catch much past 60.
Oh, and on the laff glitch, if i were to make rb50 on ernie i would lose extra point, and/or catch all fish, there is a system-wide limit on laffs. i lost one point getting to mr H 40, never got 113 (prior to cash hq), I can't become rb50 til higher laff limit, (I will be first 118 toon though, lol)

The question i pose is, has anyone caught 69 on steel rod before?
Gold rod is in next catalog, i get it on next Sunday.

I know this isn't what you are asking, but kudos to you! I got 63 on steel, was determined to get at least 68 before buying gold, but alas, I gave up (well, sort of, more like got impatient) and bought gold last weekend! Well done!

Not that you are asking for advice, but GO FOR IT! Catch that jellyfish before buying the gold!!

Yes someone has gotten 69 with steel that was Rikku, awhile back and then she got gold rod, bagged Bull Dog.
