Upcoming changes to Estate pond

Test server was updated with some Bingo changes, and this nice little addition:

You can now sell fish in your Estate! If you try to fish in your Estate with a full bucket, a dialogue window will appear asking you if you'd like to sell your fish. You can only sell all or none of your fish at this time.

That will be nice

Well well that's certainly a sensible and welcome addition. Now all the estates need is their own ultra rare so that it'd actually be useful to spend some time there.

I think adding a fishertoon to our estate was way past due. It was the only pond that didn't have one. At least we have one now.

Yeah and the estates were disadvantaged even more because the owner couldn't leave without kicking all the fishers out. Not only did you have to tp to a clerk, you had to coordinate when to do it. Glad they got a fix.

Seems I don't have a fishertoon at my estate on test. I sent a bug report.

There's no fishing clerk there. Fill your bucket and try to cast again, a window will show up asking if you want to sell your fish, then click yes or no.

Do you have your bucket full? I thought I did and was wondering where the popup to sell them was too. Seems I didn't have enough JB's and caught one more fish (bucket full then) and then tried to cast my lure again and viola it came up and asked if I wanted to sell them. I was hoping for an actual fishertoon BUT at least we can sell our fish now at our estate.

Yes, you must have a full bucket to be able to sell at your estate.

It's a good thing too!

I don't want no stinky, fishy smelling clerk playing with my doodles while I'm away!

Why don't cha?!? Having a guy staring at the doodles could be fun.
*Watches doodle beg for food but when the shopkeeper keeps still, doodle eats shopkeeper and fish*
See? Having shopkeepers would help lower the costs to feed doodles.

I have nothing against doodles and I love mine.

Anyone else having problems selling fish at your estate?

I've already sent in a bug report on this, but I was curious if it's just my test toon account being flaky...is anyone else not getting the popup to sell your fish at your estate? I wanted to try this out on one of my test toons, since this was something I had made a suggestion on long ago, but even with a full bucket and enough jellybeans in hand to try and cast again I'm not getting the sell dialog. I'm just getting the standard, my bucket's full...go sell your fish and then come back spiel.

It sounds like from reading the posts in this thread that it is working some people, but it sure is being stubborn and not working for me!

Thanks!

p.s. Did anyone else get the impression that because they made the comment in the release notes that "You can only sell all or none of your fish at this time" that perhaps they're getting ready to make it so you can keep some of the fish you catch at your estate as pets?

Anyone remember that tease Disney gave us last year in one of their Backstage newsletters (Issue 4 to be exact), when they were preparing to release the fish on open that we'd have the choice of throwing back our fish or keeping them to bring back to our estate as pets? Hmm...in rereading this issue, they said they were going to let us swim in our ponds with them, have differents types of baits and lures available to buy in our catalogs and that catching fish was supposed to heal you. Well, none of that obviously ever happened...
