A reply from Tech support on the Grand Piano Tuna

Thank you for your e-mail.

I've looked at the rarity level of the fish that you have yet to catch.
It's not impossible to catch, but it is definitely the most difficult to
catch in terms of rarity. To this date, the elusive fish has been caught
176 times.

The last time we adjusted the fish rarity levels they were much harder
to catch than this fish. This is not a bug, just a very hard task. As a
111 laffer I'm sure you can appreciate the thrill of finally finishing a
hard task.

I encourage you to keep on fishing. That last fish is out there and is
can be caught. A suggestion I have for you is to try fishing the streets
in that playground more often. You might find a bit more success.

In addition, keep your eyes peeled on the home page for news and ideas
on how to make fishing a more social group endeavor.

Thank You,

Regine

Pfft!

OK, I'd like to see Regine out here fishing for 8-10 hours a day for 2 months just to catch one of the last few fish and see how frustrated she gets. How many hours and days must we fish before we are allowed to experience the joy of catching all our fish? (Sarcastic)

Disney has made it almost impossible for us serious gamers who want to complete a task and move on. Yes, I realize it can be done but why is Disney making it so blasted difficult? Wasn't TT suppose to be fun for all ages? I've said it before and I"ll say it again - I'm sure it's all a ploy to keep money coming into their pockets.

I only have 2 fish to go, the Grizzly and the Grand, before joining the ranks of the 112 laffers. I just caught my 68th fish after spending 2 months and countless hours fishing like a maniac. This does not include the 6 months and even more countless hours prior catching the first 68 fish. My friend, who has 68 fish, has spent even more time fishing. He has made the list almost every day for the last 2 months with nothing to show for it. There are many of us in the same boat. I'm sure all are quite frustrated.

I'm not sure if I am insane enough to fish another 200+ hours & countless months just to fish for ONE of the last 2 species. ARGHHHHHHH

Did anyone notice how the fish that Loosy needed were the ones that got adjusted? And they made other fisher even harder to catch - I guess Loosy already had those. Loosy, what strings did you pull? Yes, I know Loosy put his time into fishing as well and I applaud his efforts. He understands how the rest of us feel.

So Batleth, you can just tell Regine to try her hand at fishing for the last 2-3 fish and see how many encouraging words she has to offer then.

BTW, where are these new cog headquarters?????????????

The following species are still TOUGH AS NAILS to catch:
Full Moon Fish
Grizzly Bear Acuda
Baby Grand Piano Tuna
Grand Piano Tuna
Concord Grape PB&J
Devil Ray
All Star Fish

Believe me, I did my time. I caught all of those BEFORE the latest update. I
concluded a LONG time ago that the following species were BUGGED, and
reported my observations to Disney in an email several months ago:
Old King Crab (especially this fish because it supposed to be just as difficult as the Alaskan)
Half Moon Fish (back then was unknown)
Crescent Moon Fish (back then was unknown)

Those species and the Alley were all that I had left to catch, and I
caught all of them in a 50 minute span a day after the update.

Batleth! Which species did you ask Disney about? I'm dying to know, hehe

Edit: after reviewing my screenies, I actually had the Full Moon already and
lacked one of the others (I think it was the Alley Cat). Doesn't matter anyway.

If you're asking about the HQ, you must be new to TT. Everyone knows that they are coming out in January. (Cashbot HQ)

All Star Fish??!

Yea, whatever you say! ALL STAR FISH is so easy to catch. I get a lot of those. Take it off your list RIGHT THIS SECOND!

Haha. Jk.

It's just easy for me to catch, even on a bamboo rod I got it. I'm on hardwood almost on gold. I skipped steel

Well, Loosy, then you made my point, THANK YOU! The fish that I am looking for, you already had. So, Disney has made it more difficult to catch those particular fish and then downgraded the ones that YOU didn't have.

Well Peachy, the only thing I keep my ears perked up for is the fish not the Headquarters. Thank you for the information and no, I'm not new here.

No, Disney did NOT make those particular fish (Grand, Baby, Griz,
etc.) HARDER. They are the same difficulty as they were before.
I said I did my time. Know what that means? It means that from
the day I hit L50 Hollywood (4/24/04) until early July, I fished for
8 to 14 hours A DAY to go from 41-43 species (can't recall exactly)
to 66 (when they added the 20 new ones). On 9/30/04, after
Disney FINALLY fixed the bugged species, I caught them.

I was on the top of the Fishing and Boot lists almost every day
during that time, which gave me proof (and ammo) of the time
I put in. It armed me so that I could fire off a letter to Disney
telling them about the bugged species. It would be hard for them
to refute my claim as coming from a casual fishertoon when they
have all the statistics right there in their database, even though
I still received the same canned response: "Some species are
tougher than others. Keep trying!" lol

Yes it is for ages 7-12. But a 7 year old is probably not able to fish as well as other people. It usally takes a minute to finish one bucket, but for a 7 year old much longer, and it would be longer for them to catch all 70.

I know that you you fished so long for all of them, but seriously, it's nearly impossible! Name one kid that has time to get to Mr. Hollywood Level 50 and catch all 70 fish. I can barely play on week days. The only kid that I know that is Mr. Hollywood Level 50 is Fluffy Tomahawk. I hate the factory and the V.P. is only like 20 minutes, when you have to do the boring thing for 4 hours!
Boring Thing= 4 Hours
Finally The Fun Part= 20 Minutes
I caught 60 fish, and the very next day... they updated the fish! So I got the easy fish bringing me to 64. Then I decided to start fishing again and got 66. It takes way to long to get all the fish. They should make a just ofr V.P., where you can bettle the V.P. without getting parts and merits, and there is no promotion, so that you can at least do some fun things.

To anyone who is 112: How many hours total did it take to get to Mr. Hollywood Level 50 and 70 Species?

HELLO IN THERE???????? Excuse me, but in my post, I said that you did your time. I never said you didn't. I even applauded you. I'm sorry you got the wrong idea.

Look, it's not about you Loosy Goosy. It's about Disney and their absurd ideas when it comes to fishing. Regardless of which fish Disney upgraded or downgraded, the point is, they need to lighten up the difficulty all around for this task.

Believe me I understand heh. My letter to Disney mentioned the hours I put in
and how there is no way a child can do that, unless Disney wanted to endorse
school drop-outs

Candy, you edited your post AFTER my reply stating that I did my time, lol.
Besides, I don't think you understood what I meant by doing my time, so
I elaborated

Panzerfaust I've been asking the same thing, heh. Batleth, now you're stuck.
If you say which species you asked Disney about, you'll get every TD&H
telling you where to fish. Not only that, but you're the Fishing hole mod!
lol just toying with ya buddy

Woah! That was uncalled for and you know it! I edited my post to correct a word because it was spelled wrong. I changed the word "where" to "were" - just so you know. So don't go spreading rumors about me adding something to the original post when you have NO CLUE what happened. What I said about you was in the original post and was not edited after your reply.
