Unfortunately, my friends list has been at 50 for a long time, and no, deleting someone to add you is not an option

As for tips, there is no tip I used to get to 66 fish other than reading Batleth's excellent fishing guide.

I don't think any of the theories are correct about catching fish in specific districts, after doing something else, before doing something else, related to new records, related to how many trolley games you played, etc.

The only thing I have done is fished a lot, a whole lot

I truly believe that the whole process is fully random. This would make getting your last 10 or so species harder and harder to catch as you get each one. Without a bell curve scripting put in place, it's pretty darn near impossible to catch all 70 species.

I've tested most of those theories that you mentioned with little consistant positive results to prove that they actually work. Just go fishing and hope good luck is on your side..lol.

Just because a toon doesn't want to SF you doesn't suggest he is mean. It might actually be what he says, he has too many friends. He didn't say "Don't pm me or talk to me." That would be mean. Maybe you could've said "Ok thanks, anyway. Would you be willing to let me PM you for advice?"

i dont think you should take it personally. it is true that most of the hi toons have a full list and it is very diffficult to decide to delete any of those sfs. i personally dont take a new sf unless i had played with the toon and had a good experience or referred by another sf.
there is nothing mean about the refusal so dont take it too personally. it does not reflect on you at all.
