You purchase new rods in the cattlelog, a new one should come once every 4th cattlelog or so.

Well, first of all, you can’t catch 1337 fish because there are only 70 fish. The way you get them is by looking in your cattlelog. You get a new fishing rod in every 4th cattlelog, so they go in order from:



Series 1 Cattlelogs

Cattlelog Nos. 4, 8 and 12



Series 2 Cattlelogs

Cattlelog Nos. 3, 7, and 11

1337 actually is a term in the "Hacker" language meaning very good, as in 1337=leet=elite. I hope this is cleared up. And yes, a new rod comes every 4 catelogs, even though I haven't got a chance to get my gold rod yet >_<

Yeah doggyg is right, 1337 is leet (elite) And your telling me I have to wait A whole MONTH to get a new rod???! thats... crazy.... I could have like all my gags at max by then.... and i'd still be fish that provide under 20 jelly beans a peice... (though im not exactly complaining! ) well I have 2 toontasks to do on 's dock, so see j00 l8r every1!

Bamboo rod actually comes after only 3 weeks and not 4 weeks like the others because you get series 1 the first day...

Be careful what you wish for, when you get the gold rod and those 3 and 4 jb fish come up 5+ times in a bucket, you feel like dropping fishing altogether.

I've also been wondering when new rods come out, since I only subscribed about two weeks ago. I already have learned sound and drop, and now I'm working on Trap in MM. I'm only on Cattleog Series 1 Issue 2, so it's nice to know when I'll get my new rod.
