So far for me i got all but 3 of the new fish : 1 pb&jelly and 2 cats i got 58 of 70 so far

They did make it a little tougher than on Test, but not by much. Even though
I bagged the Full Moon Fish, the other common species aren't coming quickly.
I've gone from 46 to 60 in about 1 ½ hours

I just got ANOTHER Scurvy on my fist cast when I went back to Lighthouse.

I've been trying to snag him for about a week now, and I get two within minutes of each other! Ugh.

Yeah, I think I'd be doing closer to 60 by now if I had the Gold Rod... At least I'll use that excuse until I get the Gold Rod

Yea once a new species is caught, it's as if it gets 'introduced' into gen-pop
where it then gets a new spawn rate, depending on it's base rarity.

I used to think it only seemed like species became more common after catching
the first one because you have to catch it a first time, hehe, but it definitely
becomes more common after it is added to your shticker book. Some species
seem to maintain their rarity, such as the Grand Piano, Grizzly, and the other
ultra rares. Again, that could be because each species has an initial rarity, and a
spawn rate after getting caught the first time.

Just a few observations from over several hundred hours of fishing hehe

Including the Devil ray in Dreamland on street (second dock)-YEAH! Just two more and I get another laff point. I am currently at 58 with Gold Rod.
