where to catch all star

can someone please tell me wheres the easiest place to catch ALL STAR?
I have steel rod

Simple answer: ANYWHERE

There is no hot spot for All Star.

TUFS reports the following:

It is rated as being "ultra rare" and "any pond", but maybe you'll have more luck at one of those? We really can't say yet because we need more data.

While you fish, consider joining TUFS and reporting your buckets (or at least when you get new records or a new species).

The all star fish has been caught more in DDL then TB next. I'm not sure whether it was in the playground or in the streets. This just might be because more of the rarer species are there and more people have been fishing these ponds, I'm still researching this myself.

I caught the all-star on Sleet Street with gold rod, just FYI, since I didn't record it in TUFS. It was 4 lbs 1 oz, 46 jelly beans ...

I'd bet that most people caught the All Star while looking for other fish. There's an All Star topic here.

I got mine last week in MM while I was fishing for a Grand/Baby Grand. Since the All Star is an any pond fish, your time would probably be best spent fishing at the hot spots for other fish you need and let the All Star come when it comes.
