1000 fish caught no new ones :(

Started today to see how many fish caught would it take to get a new one i have been stuck on 41 for awhile now so i strarted by catching 100 per payground with no new fish then went to lullaby lane for next 400 the only thing i caught is 5 new records well back to it wish me luck

hehe, join the club. It takes way more than 1000 fish to bag a new species,
once you get into the 40's. Once the 20 new species are added to Open, the
new threshold will be around 61-62 species for most folks.

then how do you have 65 species loosy? i haven't seen you on the top toons board lately. on the other hand, a good friend Dizzy Wonderdoodle has been on the board daily for most fish and boots for about two weeks, and he has 65 species as well

I had 46 before the new species were added, and that was from fishing 8 to 14
hours a day for 4 or so weeks straight (right after hitting L50 Holly), and even
then, just to go from 40 to 46.

17 of the new species are relatively easy to catch, so getting to 63 wasn't too bad

I stand corrected.

Note: i have 62 species, and i too had 46 species before the new fishies came out, but i only caught 16 of the new ones, and yet i still cry myself to sleep at night, wishing to catch the Concord Grape, Siamese & Black Cat Fish, and All Star....oh and Grand Piano!

I have caught 1000's of fish every day for the last 3 weeks.....still stuck at 59. Back to fishing.

Same sob story here... I had 58 on Steel almost 3 weeks ago, and I've only caught one new species since going Gold lol.

im on 59 fish.....and have been fishing for almost 11 hours. but no new species yet =(
