40th Fish and Estate fishing

I caught my 40th fish today....hooray! I must say, I love the new update for better rods. I went from 35 to 40 fish in no time flat. Especially when I compare to how long I went with no new species! heehee!

I'm wondering though, are there still fish that are only at one's estate? I guess I thought it was the Holey Mackeral that could be found only at the estate pond, but I caught mine at MM playground.

Thanks!

Hmm...

Congrats!! I'm not sure what fish is only found at your estate. It might be a different one for everyone! I wonder...

The Holey Mackerel can now be caught in any pond. I've personally have caught them in every neighborhood.

Wow! Thats good to know.
I'm going fishing!

But first a question....is it easier to catch at the estate than other places?

I think it is slightly easier to catch at the estate, but considering the actually averages between estate versus the other ponds, it's really close. Not enough to have different rarity values between ponds.

Of course, I always try to fish where I need multiple species so as to make it easier to catch at least 1 new species each time I fish. Since I have 4 toons, I try to keep them slowly getting new species at all times when I play TT. Though each of my toons have different rods, I get to test out the chances better between multiple rods. I found catching the Holey Mackerel is easiest with Steel rods so far since the update.

I got the mackeral at my estate on the first bucket with my gold rod (after the update)

So I'd say pretty easy at the estate

Ditto, bagelpop! (BTW, how's the weather up there? Hee-hee!)

When the update happened, I stuck with my hardwood for a few hours, then moved to steel -- got about 4 or 6 new species with those (can't remember, it was so many so fast!). A few hours after I'd had steel, I moved on up to gold, figuring it was safe now. I *STILL* haven't got a new species since then, which just amazes me. How many days has that been? Ugh.

Thanks, but I'm diabetic. Just grab a gold or steel rod and head off to fish in your estate for a few buckets. You'll catch one in no time. Got my first one on my second cast with my steel rod.
