Fishing Research in Crazyham

Captain Corky, my 120 laff toon with 64 fish, (now 125 laff with 67 fish), and a Gold Rod spent a couple of hours in different playgrounds which are hot-spots for Ultra Rare fish, collecting 30 Buckets in each and analysing them. He needs all six Ultra Rare Fish and I decided to report back on roughly how many Jellybean Jars, Boots, New Record Fish and New Species you get at this stage of fishing. All results have been taken in the district CRAZYHAM.

I recorded the price of all Thirty Buckets in each Playground and here are the main stats on those:

Minnie’s Melodyland, Alto Avenue: 252 (Bucket 7) - 113 (Bucket 25) = 139 Difference in Price.
My Estate: 228 (Bucket 21) – 113 (Bucket 3) = 115 Difference in Price
Donald’s Dreamland, Playground: 224 (Bucket 28) – 128 (Bucket 20) = 96 Difference in Price

21,722 Beans (Take into account that you spend more than half of this casting).

Analysis

It is estimated that you get all the Ultra Rares within about 60,000 fish and I have only fished 2400 there. That means in that seemingly huge fishing spree that took four plus hours for all of them together, I managed to complete 1 over 25th of that 60,000, (2400 out of 60,000), a.k.a. one twenty-fifth. That means I will need to do that another 25 times to max fishing, give or take a few thousand and get the right location each time which is a lot tougher than you'd think. Since it took me about four hours to do one twenty-fifth, it would take roughly 125 hours of solid fishing to have fished 60,000. That's the equivalent of 5.2 days of straight fishing! Of course, you don't have to do it all at once and that figure will certainly fluctuate depending on a number of aspects, such as how long it takes for you to complete a bucket, what type of rod you have, etc. Below are the final conclusions of my Research.

Jellybeans: 181.016
Boots: 1.5

60,000 fish is the same as 3000 buckets, meaning that while you get all six Ultra Rares, you are roughly expected to get:
Jellybeans: 543,048 – This may seem like a huge number but remember, you use up plenty of beans casting!
Boots: 4500
Jellybean Jars: 573
New Record Fish: 474 (Number will almost certainly fall.)
New Species: 1 per 10,000
Total Casts Hit: 65,073
Total Casts Missed: 7398
Total Casts: 72,474
(Divide these numbers by six to get the values per Ultra Rare Fish)

72,474 Casts may seem like a lot… And it is! Fishing requires great determination, skill and a bit of luck! These figures I have given are just rough ideas of what is to come while you try to catch your last few fish

So What is an Ultra Rare Fish?

An Ultra Rare Fish is currently the hardest fish to catch in Toontown. There are six of them, all equally hard to get and they can cause people hours of work to no avail. You have a 1/10,000 chance of catching one Ultra Rare Fish on your first cast which is not a very pleasant number, as is the fact that I took 4-5 hours to catch 2400 fish, one twenty-fifth (1/25), of what you roughly need to max. These six fish are listed below along with a location(s) which you will be sure to catch them in eventually... But I can't guarentee it.
I fished in these ponds too for my Research.

1. Concord Peanut Butter & Jellyfish - Donald's Dreamland and The Brrrgh
2. All Star Fish - Estate
3. Devil Ray - Donald's Dreamland and The Brrrgh
4. Full Moon Fish - Donald's Dreamland
5. Grizzly Bear Acuda - Walrus Way, The Brrrgh
6. Grand Piano Tuna - Alto Avenue, Minnie's Melodyland

I think that you should PM the link to this thread to those on TTC who have several maxed fishers, and ask their opinion. From my standpoint, your records are astonishing, and believe me when I say astonishing, but me only having 65 species on my main......... I'm not too sure if I have the exact right to call the shots here, for your records and findings are something beyond my comprehension and my experience.

My only suggestion to this is that you take into account that you're on the UK server, not a US server, and because TTUK and TTUS are treated as separate companies, this might afflict your findings.

Thank you so much for your comments. The servers are luckily both the same so catching Ultra's is the same difficulty on both. I do not think, correct me if I'm wrong, that the UK and US are different servers because otherwise I couldn't see US toons at all. Even so, since it is Toontown I guess the fishing must be almost exactly the same on all servers.

Well, technically it's a 1/10,000 chance of getting a Single Ultra Rare on your first cast, yes.

5.2 days fishing stragiht? lol, no way. 4 hours is long enough, but 5.2 days!? Insane, TT should make Ultras easier to catch ( Maybe one every 8,000 fish). That would help ( A ton).
