I have a question... I have a hardwood right now... and my steel is on order... Some people are saying that hard wood is the best kind to have. I have 29 fish though. Should I switch it or not?

Probably not. The hardwood can catch up to 38 species and costs 2 JB less per cast. Stay away from steel until you have nearly 40 fish. I didn't, and I REGRET it...big time.

I respectfully disagree. Steel rod still pulls a profit and there is no evidence to
suggest that hardwood is significantly less detrimental than steel.

Gold on the other hand will drain your bank!
