Fisshion Impossible? :(

I made a new rabbit and I got him up to 47 laff. It took me 5 thousand fish to get the old king crab. I've fished atleast 10k at my estate and I haven't gotten the holey mackeral yet. Why is it taking so long to get these fish?

Wow Joe, I don't know that is amazing. Hopefully once you get these your ultras will be easier. It is a strange thing though. I have fished for the Old King and Siamese on at least 20 toons and some will get them both in a few buckets and some I will fish for over 100 buckets each. I never had it quite as bad as that. I don't have enough info to tell you that the rest will get easier but I would think so.

Hm, it's a matter of luck, since i have NEVER caught the old king crab in my entire life. And i've fished over 400 buckets there.

I caught the Holy Mackeral my first day in TT with the Twig rod. I have given up on fishing...the other day I went to every pond on every street and every PG and fished 20 buckets in each place and I AM STILL 10 fish short of 70!!! GRRRRR!!!!!

Wow that is amazingly bad luck I think my worst was 100 buckets. I have the Old King on all of my 23 toons. Sorry to hear you are having it so tough.

That really is amazing that you got the Holey Mackerel on your first day with a twig since the smallest Holey Mackerel is 6lbs and you need a bamboo rod for that. As far as fishing everywhere, I used to do that and it doesn't work. Pick a fish you want and fish where that fish is, that will work much better. If you fished 400 buckets over 20 ponds that is some incredible fishing, imagine the results if you would have focused your energy on a specific fish.

Thats impossible, since holey mackerel needs a Bamboo+ rod to be caught. The biggest fish you can catch with twig rod is the Nurse Shark.

Old King Crab is my most hated fish. Mainly because of the reason above.

Also... it's strange, i caught the All Star when i was only about 57 laff. Yet i have 0 OKC, 0 DR, 0 SCF, and many other Very Rares. (I have 61 fish)

Not so strange. Laff points don't mater in fishing. You only need a twig to get an All Star and it can be caught everywhere. Very nice catch.
