For the toons that have caught the grizzly:

Do you believe that you caught the grizzly in 25,000 fish? If not, post how many fish you had to get through.

According to tufs, it can be caught on walrus way w/ a .o4% ratio (obviously) and .o4% is 1 in 25,000 fish; 12,410 buckets.

That ratio sounds right to me. I have caught the grizzly on 6 toons and I have gotten it very easy and I have had to fish over 50,000 fish before. The only thing I would say about your statement is that 25,000 fish is 1,250 buckets. (your math needs work, lol)

Ya, that sounds right. I got mine in about 12k, but on my other toon, I am at about 27k searching with still no luck.

Took me 4 fish to snag that beast, but it took me 40k for concord. It just depends. Average is about 15k for it.

LOL, sorry. I did that bucket thing right when I woke up, XD. By the way, I know I have at least 15 hours on TB. How many buckets would that be if it took me 1.5 minutes get each bucket? Thats the homework. No, I just want to know how many fish I've caught so far in TB (but get the right answer)

i have been playing for almost 2 yrs and have caught none of the ultra rares. i have given up on fishing. i think it is totally ridiculas that disney has made it that hard. and how is it that you all know how many buckets you have fished. i have never kept track

I have a adding machine by my computer I just hit the "+" sign to add 1 every time I finish a bucket. Then when I am done for the day I add it to my total. Pretty easy, maybe a bit crazed but I am a math nut. So I need to have my numbers, lol.

My first grizzly, this is how I did it...

After fishing randomly for weeks (so no idea how many fish that was), I decided to be more methodical.

I started at the top district. I fished 4 buckets in the playground. Then I ran to Walrus Way, and fished 4 buckets. Then I went to the next district down, repeat.

I went through all the districts, and started back at the top. I caught the grizzly in Giggly Point I think it was.

Anyone who wants to guesstimate how many fish that is, be my guest.

But I can guarantee you, it was over 25,000 fish. It was the last fish I caught - more than 2 years ago. Since then I have caught about 10 more looking for the Concord. So good luck.
