last 2 fish...major gripe here...

i have been playing toontown since early 2003 before there even was fishing and i have a major complaint. i have 68 out 70 fish. i have been fishing for the last 2 fish for over a year with no luck. i emailed TT twice about the issue and they said it can be done, just keep trying. now, i am NOT a child with no patience and i know where to fish for each species. i am <an adult> and know what is involved in all this stuff. i just think that over a year of fishing for 2 fish is RIDICULOUS!!!!! and to make matters worse, in the past few weeks that i've been fishing, i catch a fish and it quickly changes to another fish...like in a fraction of a second. at first i thought i was seeing things but the more it happened, the more i was sure of what i was seeing. i am 100% positive i have caught these last 2 fish but it has changed at the last second. when is TT gonna get over themselves and give us a break. i know a lot of people have caught these 2 fish with hard work and i can sincerely appreciate that but this is crazy. i have done everything myself several times over (this is my 3rd toon) and i think i deserve a break.

Hi yes i know the feeling ppl have played toontown less then me and got all there fish i still need 1 fullmoon and been fishing for like over a year for it now with no luck got bored and iv given up hope

I have given up on the last 7. I don't need the jellies anymore, and it is just toooo boring to continue to catch buckets of stars and balloons. At this point, even gardening is better than fishing because you know you will get there in the end.

I haven't caught a new fish in months. I have tried all the right ponds, and done 15-20 buckets at a stretch. I give up!

Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. I have had to catch over 50,000 fish many times to get 1 new species. They can be a real pain in the neck. If I can help, let me know.

i appreciate your offer, but i don't think anyone can help. i have fished solo, fished with 3 other toons, 2 other toons, 1 other toon, during bingo, not during bingo, during invasions, not during invasions, different docks, different districts, for the full moon fish i've tried both the playground and the street ponds, for grizzly TT insists it can only be caught on walrus way so i stay there....i am at a complete loss. one day i fished non stop from 9:00 am until my kids got home from school after 4:00. NOTHING!!! i guess i have to just keep going.

All the fishing theroys aside. I don't believe in any of them. What does work for me is between 25 to 50 buckets at a time. I like to fish them as fast as I can and in the same place. I don't move. I like quiet districts to eliminate lag when toons are running around or teleporting in. And I try to do at least 50 buckets a day. Some days I do try to do 75 to 100 buckets at a time in one spot.

By the way. The Grizzly can be caught anywhere in the Brrrgh and has been many times. I fish Walrus Way mostly also, but I have caught it twice in the playground.

are u kidding???? twice in the playground??? one of the TT newsletters we got in the mail said it is only in walrus way. i originally fished in the playground because i heard people caught it there but then i saw that newsletter and stopped. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Yup, same for a lot of my friends; they caught it in places other than Walrus Way. Just keep at it and you eventually will catch them all.

I have 2 maxed toons and a few close. I have always been REAL lucky getting the Grizzly Bear on Polar place. It's not that hard there either, however the Grand Piano,baby Piano,Full Moon may never be caught by me for the same reasons you just stated also who ever does 50,000 fish to get 1 new Species is not in his right mind, If he or she thinks this is O.K. fishing should not be this hard. I have been Fishing for over 2 years and not maxed fishing on any of my toons. ToonTown needs to ease up on fishing ASAP don't you think. RayDawg still needing that last laff point......

Got my Grizzly on Walrus Way. Just got Concord last week in DDL playground. Two months between those two fish. Just need Full and Grand. OOOOF!!

When you say two months -- how many hours per day or buckets per day?

For those of you who have managed to do this, how do you manage to keep focused and not run off to do the CFO or a 5 story building?

That is why I made the thread about random probability. Through these probabilities, some people will be lucky while others not. With probabilities, there is a chance that a select few "unlucky" people will never catch them all .

I just dont understand why TT implemented such bad odds when trying to catch these last few fish .

What I used to do was fish about 50 buckets every other day until I was at my last fish. In trying to catch my last fish, I fished everytime I logged onto TT anywhere from 50 to 100 buckets. What I used to do was put on a good movie and watch that for 2 hrs while I fished. At the end of the 2 hrs I would be close to finished with all of my fishing for that day.
