I have 63 and have given up again. I haven't gotten any new species since the summer. I don't need the jellies, just those fish. I am awed by folks who have maxed fishing on multiple toons.

Hang in there, 63 fish is the point where most people have to start fishing for a few thousand for the next species.

Yeah, everyone takes a break from fishing around their 60-63th fish. You'll get on kicks to find fish.

I've never had any luck at all with fishing, I have only 12 species of fish right now, as hard as I try I can't get more fish. But that's life, I suppose.

What on earth are you trying to do? Get them all on the Hardwood? You are doing awesome for hardwood. The maximum you can get for hardwood is 60. My guess is the 3 possible fish you have left for your current ability is the Devil Ray, All Star, and Concord. You can do it with that rod but it will take you about 50,000 fish to do it. Why not just move to Steel, then you can get 69 fish.

The Devil Ray is an ultra rare and can be gotten anywhere. So don't try. Fish for something else and maybe while you are fishing for that other fish, the Devil you want so badly might just jump in. Try for the Old King on Lighthouse or the Siamese on Elm or the Baby Grand on Tenor. Not sure what you have left but those are my guesses for what you have left. When you fish for these 3 fish, fish 50 buckets at a time. Over 75% of the time you will get the Siamese, Old King or Baby Grand in less than 50 buckets.

Thanks! Those are the only 3 fish I'm missing and no luck so far

I'm not tring to catch them all with the hardwood, I still haven't received the catalog for the 4th rod
