Well the All Star is NOT easier to catch than the Old King. The Old King is far easier, but the Old King does require you to be on Lighthouse Lane. I have never heard it being caught anywhere else. The All Star can be caught anywhere. The Old King is just a very rare the All Star is a ultra rare.
Suggestion: Don't fish for the All Star. Fish for everything else first, you will more than likely catch the All Star while fishing for one of the other ultra rares.
