Still searching....should I bother?

After countless buckets, I'm still searching for the Full Moon. It's been since August 27 that I've been trying. That was the date I bagged Grizzly.

I've been fishing almost entirely in Donald's Dreamland at the playground. Is this indeed the best location for catching the Full, or am I just wasting time here? I've been switching docks and districts, had some new records, lots of nurse sharks, and a TON of boots, but no bites from the Full.

So, is Pajama or Lullabye better? Are reports of Full's caught in the playground just an elaborate hoax to dupe the dilligent? Can you only catch Full at the end of the month???? Please, any words of help or encouragement would be appreciated!

BTW: Full Moon would be fish #68 for me.

Full moon is just hard, but you should never give up. I have only caught a total of 3, all of those being in the DDL playground. Many of my friends have caught it on Lullabye Lane. Only one friend has caught it on Pajama Place, but hardly anyone ever fishes there, so that might be why more aren't caught there.

Pick a place in DDL where you like to fish. Fish a few minutes/few buckets every day. Don't be attached to getting it. It will happen for you eventually.

What other fish do you need? With Full being perhaps the most difficult, maybe you should work on a different one for a little while.

First off, thanks for your reply and kind words.

As I said, my next fish will be #68. I need Concord, Grand Piano, and Full Moon. I hear Concord can be caught at DDL playground as well as the Full, that's why I have been fishing almost entirely there. I know I have to go to MM for the Grand, but hear that's next to impossible (ask Kitty Mama!).

Alright then.....stiff upper lip, chin up, ear to the ground and nose to the grindstone....just keep fishing!!! Uggh!

I dont think you should give up, just keep at it, and eventually through random probability you will catch all of them. I can see you still need the Concord. The Concord can be found in DDL, but the majority of people that I have seen have caught him in TB PG.

Out of all of the stats I have done, the Concord has been the most difficult to catch for the majority of people. So be optimistic and know and understand that there is possibly a lot more fishing to do beyond what you have done already. Keep your head up and your lure in the water .

Yes, the Concord is frequently caught in DDL playground, as well as on Lullabye Lane. Personally, I only catch it in the Brrgh, but I have been fishing with many toons in DDL for Full and have seen them catch Concord.

I think Grand was number 69 for both of my fishing maxed toons. I have also seen many people get discouraged over that one! Keep up with the DDL fishing and if you need a change of scenery, pop over to MML for a little bit. A few times when I have really focused on a particular fish, a change of scenery caught me a new species.

Full Moon

I caught all my Full Moons on Lullaby Lane in DDL. Try fishing in both the playground and Lullaby Lane, when you get tired of one, try the other! My Concords have all been caught in TB playground, Grands on Alto Avenue and playground in MML. Good luck with the last three fish, they are tough ones! Most importantly, DON'T GIVE UP!!

I've caught 4 concords looking for the full moon fish. Two in the DDL playground (one the day I started looking for full) and the other two on Lullaby Lane. I've had a pretty easy time finding other ultra-rares (like all-star and devil ray) in DDL just not the one I need. I've done about 50k and haven't seen any results yet. Its been a long 3 months and I'm ready for it to end with my full in hand.

I would try and work on it a bit everyday. You might try starting in DL playground, run down Lullaby, and stop for a few in Minnies playground, and then up Alto.

You can vary it by tracking the buckets per dock for the day. Or doing the route the other direction, or between battles or buildings. The important thing is getting some in everyday, even at just one location. That's what I have been doing since the summer. Gotten Grand, Concord, Bulldog, Baby Grand in that order. I need All Star, Devil Ray, Grizzly and Full.

I was getting records yesterday in the Brrrgh pg, so I ran over to Tenor, and got the Baby Grand, last fish in the first bucket. Then I went to Walrus Way and got some records, but no joy. Baroness will be fishing in the Brrrgh and DL from now on and some at the estate during Bingo.

I am also tracking my records since August. Not sure what they will show me, but it gives me something to organize while I am doing the fishing.
Sometimes I just fish while the coffee kicks in, :smiley9:

Keep fishing..........it took me 6 months to get my first ultra rare, i got the next few about 2 weeks apart until i hit number 70....oof....4 months later I had about given up, but I GOT IT TODAY!!!

Fishing is really just a matter of stick-to-itiveness lol good luck! Don't kill yourself, just fish when you can. If it helps I got my full moon in the playground DDL, when you least expect it boom!

Thanks for the words of encouragement Lady Trixie, and congrats on your new ultra!! I do fish every day, either by design or while waiting for a friend to finish up a battle. I wish I could donate all the extra beans to my other toon Gringo Suave, instead of just giving them back to Disney. Oh well....

Keep your tip up!!!

What districts does Baroness frequent? I would definitely look there first when I wanted to fish. Nice to have a fishing buddy sometimes! Someone who will listen to your stories about "the one that got away..."! lol

The grand piano is on Alto Avenue? Yesterday, I sat in front of my computer for hours fishing on Tenor Terrace to catch this rare species. I began determined to stay the long haul (all day) with a box of protein bars and a jug of V8 juice. However, after 2 hours I gave up. Before I return to my fishing trip today, I guess I will run over to Alto Avenue, Thanks.

Disney discriminates against cream colored cats. It's in the programming: cream cats=no Tuna. You will likely catch it with no trouble in the first bucket or two.
