Help with fishing

I am working on my last three fish, Grand Piano, Full Moon, and All Star. I have been fishing in donolds dreamland on lullaby lane for the past two months to try for the full moon with no luck on avarage about an hour a day sometimes two hours. I also have been fish in my estate for the all star fish and on Alto ave in Minnie's Melody for the Grand Piano....my question is am I fishing in the wrong place? Is one district better then another? Is there a better time of day that I would be more likey to catch these fish? Any thougths, commets, or help would be great.

That sounds exactly like King Ricky II. His last 3 fish were the full moon, grand piano, and allstar. I was fishing with him so I know what he did. he fished about 25,000 fish in the ddl playground and lullaby lane. He wouldn't leave ddl to fish anywhere else. He told me that he likes to work one fish at a time until he gets it. He fished on average about 150 buckets(3000 fish a day) so it took him about 9 days to get the full moon. He got the full moon in the playground. Then he went to get the grand piano in minnies I am almost certain he got it on alto avenue. it took him about 20,000 fish to get the grand piano. Then the next day wasn't a Wednesday so he went to the brrrgh because he said that is where he could fish the fastest he caught the allstar in about 86 buckets in the brrgh playground.

Of course Ricky is the luckiest fisher in toontown!

But, I would suggest that you fish about 100 to 150 buckets a day if you are serious about 70 fish. Don't worry too much about district. Fish a good 100 buckets in one spot each day as fast as you can. Ricky would say fish 50 buckets in playground then go to the street and fish 50 buckets. It took me 105,000 fish(5,250 buckets) to get my last 2 fish. I hope you have better luck than I. But if you are persistant you will get them. May the luck of the Ricky be upon you!

I did pretty much the same thing, worked on one fish at a time. I set goals too, at least 100 buckets a day but would try for 150 (usually wouldn't make it).

I had my favorite districts so those are primarily where I fished. Funnyfield was very lucky for me. Caught the devil ray (which was my 65th), all star and full moon there.

Biggest thing is you HAVE to really give it your all and have a lot of patience... lol.. not an easy thing when trying for those last few. I can't tell you how many times I considered just quitting.

Oh BTW, towards the end when I was getting really desperate I was doing the follow the boot thing as well as doing a bucket or 2 in every district. If there is a theory posted in this forum, I tried it..lol.. but in all reality, you just gotta FISH and fish ALOT

Thanks for the replies. I was told that fishing on Wednesday was basically a wash because of the Bingo going on? Is this true? I was told that you will never catch any of the three fish I need on a Wednesday????

Honestly, I think that it doesn't really matter if you fish 10,000, 1,000, or 100 fish a day. Just that you realize it does take A LOT of fish and that it will take a lot of time as well.

I fish once or twice a week 12-16 buckets of fish spread over the day. Like I fish four buckets (100 fish) and then I do a street of buildings (clear the street of any buildings for any cog type I am looking for). Then I garden two plants and log out while i do a chore and then I come back and do it all again.

I seem to be having pretty good luck fishing, comparable to those who are saying they fish for hours on end netting 10k fish or more a day. Today I felt lucky (because when I fished last wednesday I didn't catch anything I needed) and sure enough I landed my Devil Ray on Alto Avenue in the 6th bucket of the day.

I do fish on pond until I catch whatever fish I'm after, and often I seem to catch what I'm NOT looking for. So far I caught the concord grape and devil ray while trying to land my Grand. LOL

only 4 left to go!! (Grand, Grizzly, All Star, and Full Moon.)

Doesn't matter if you're fishing on Wednesday or not. I actually catch more fish I need on that day, but it's just because I'm actually fishing, while the rest of the week I may get a bucket or two here and there for the beans, but I don't really sit and fish.

I don't think it maters if you fish Wednesday or not. I think it is the same as any other day. But, I can tell you my last fish was the Full Moon on Good ol' Mildew Pinkerklunk and I caught it on a Wednesday after 55,000 fish since my last new species.

I was in your shoes a year ago. Spent Sept 05 to Jan 06 doing almost nothing but fishing. Was a top fishertoon many times and was number one in boots caught five times. You can also be a top toon in items bought if you like because of all the beans you'll get. That is possibly the only upside to fishing. Shower all your friends with gifts. I must have spent over 100,000 beans on gifts during those months.
