Question I was Wondering?????

Hi Everyone, Im new to TTC, but not to TT. I'm glad to have finally found yall. I am currently at 66 with 4 more to go. (Concord. Grizzly, Grand Piano, and Full Moon.) I appreciate all the info. and the checklists that are posted here. Utilizing this board and yalls experience helped me to land my last 6 fish in 2 days of moderate fishing.(COOL)

The only part I can't get a handle on is the # of buckets. I have a thought/theory and was wondering if anyone has already tested it. I was wondering if fishing follows the same pattern as all other elements of ToonTown, such as Gag Training, Gardening etc.. Which would require you to accumulate x amount of skill points in one area prior to advancing to the next. Example: If I was trying to catch the Full Moon fish? Could there be some unspoken/unwritten skill point in the "Moon-Fish Class" that I must reach before the Full-Moon becomes available to me. Same as Gag Training, if I want to obtain the squirt, glass of water, I must first obtain x number of credits toward the flower squirt.

Originallly I thought maybe we are required to do x amount of fishing in a particlar neigborhood. But, if this were the case, I should be able to catch anything available in The Burrgh. I have probably done 70% of my fishing there.

Also I am curious if anyone has ever caught the full-moon fish, prior to the half-moon, or, the Grizzly prior to the Kodiac, or any of the rarer breeds, prior to the more common? If so, this would pretty much eliminate my theory. Anyway, would appreiciate any feedback you have. I wish I had been more attentive of my fishing, and I wish I'd found you guys and this Board a long time ago. Thanks for all the hard work many of you have posted. It is awesome and very helpful! Thanks: Super Sadie

Well for grizzly bear acuda I'd say you should try about...3 to 4 buckets a district. There used to be a rumor goofy port was the best fishing district but it went away.

You're quite welcome. You may get some better advice then I have though. I'm no expert fisher. I still have 10 species to go.

I have thought about if you look at our gags..the raceing and the gardening....and then the fishing. TT does keep track of records and there used to be a top toon for even the boots. I made a post recently about all the thereys ect... toons have about the fishing. TT says its random..maybe so BUT the one thing I can say about fishing is what I read once here. You have to fish to get your fish. hee hee. You also go crazy (and everyone around you too) trying to figure out the fishing formula. HAHA! I have crossed the insanity line now. I have a new plan I will just play TT to fish now for the rest of my life! Grab a good snack...sit down... fish and talk on im..listen to music..watch a movie...read the mail...check email...sleep a little (yes you learn how to sleep while fishing lol) and fish fish fish!
