New Fishing Rods

How do you get to buy a new fishing rod?

I have Cattlelog #11 and I don't see any
new fishing rods.

Can someone help me?

It's supposed to be offered in "the next cattlelog"...whatever that means. Max has gotten 3 cattlelogs since fishing went live...bupkus...no new rods...Scooter doesn't have a new rod either...but my former elder-helper (Deputy Furball Ruffleface) has it...and he can only carry 40 beans...lol.

I think I'm gonna go to Daisy's Gardens and plant some bamboo plants, then whittle my own. It would be faster.

Rods are offered in cattlelogs 4, 8, and 12 of series 1. If you already had cattlelog 12, you need to wait till cattlelog #3 of Series 2.

Guess again...Max had Cattlelog 7 when fishing went live...He now has Cattlelog 10 and still hasn't been offered the bamboo rod.

Direct from development: "You will have the chance to purchase a rod in the next week or two".

"Chance" meaning you are not guaranteed to get it in any specific cattlelog. I have 4 toons plus one on test and amongst all of them I have all (but #12) that you mentioned.

I must have received the bamboo rod the first days cattlelog 12 was offered but it sure seems like its been longer than that. Aargh now I need to wait for series 2 #3 noooo. What was the earliest that one bought a rod I didnt think the fishing had come to open by issue 8?

The issue # is relative to the time you started your toon. Deputy Furball Ruffleface got his offered to him early on. Max has yet to see one. I haven't checked my elder-helper yet.
