who has got bamboo rod (on open)

well, my main toon, Z.Z., didnt. he just got catalog 11 tonight at 8:30pm

then, my other toon just got catalog 5 today(not sure the time, but i havnt checked this toon since he had catalog 2), and he got bamboo rod.... so, i ordered it and it should come in tomorrow afternoon
so, who else has bamboo rod on open

Well my higher toon got his cattlelog (which is cattleog 9) round 7:00. While the my newb toon I haven't checked yet.

Miss Rainbow Hulaswirl: Doesn't get catalogs til Wednesday, so it should be offered next week.

Chloe, Bunny & Faith have yet to receive their bamboo poles. I haven't checked Xander yet but Cherrie has received it. I just checked. My hunch is that Xander has received the bamboo pole though cuz his cattlelog comes today. So tonight I'm going to play Cherrie to get fishing with her & get enough beans to buy that baby! LOL

Two of my toons have been offered the bamboo. They are the ones that have not logged on since the last cattlelog. The one toon that has received his last cattlelog before fishing was released, has not been offered the pole.

After you buy the bamboo rod, can you switch back to the twig, or is it a one time thing? Is it still possible to make as much money with the better rods?

Leroy, from what I've heard once you get a new rod, the old one is out the window.

That is correct...the new rod replaces the old rod. Even though the upgraded rods use more jellybeans for bait, the return is still good. In other words, if you normally get 80-100 beans with the twig rod, you will get proportionally more with the bamboo rod. I don't the actual numbers, though since I've just gotte yet another cattlelog with no rod in it (both on test and production).
