I don't...I just want them to put a pet shop clerk at the ponds on the streets...heh heh...unless I'm fishing with a friend, it's a pain to run all the way back to the street-pond after going back to the playground to turn in the fish. And, supposedly, there are fish that can only be caught out at the street ponds and not in the playground.

And maybe soon they'll actually give the pet shop clerks this pet shop & let us take some of them home as, well....pets!

That'd be cool to buy an aquarium & come home & see your little fishy swimming around. Of course for us that have cat toons...let's just quote the Siamese Cats from "Lady & the Tramp"

Do you seeing that thing swimming 'round and 'round? Yes!
Maybe we could reaching in and make it drown!
If we sneaking up upon it carefully,
there will be a head for you, a tail for me.

The original concept (see "Backstage" here) included the ability to keep or throw back the fish. The ones you keep you supposedly would be able to bring to your estate and you could swim with them (presumably in the pond). Dunno how much of this will make it to the reality side of things, but if it's really going to happen, I would guess we're not done seeing enhancements to the fishing feature. Then again, the article says "we are considering"...which, to me, means "don't hold your breath waiting"...ROFL.

I was looking at that article you gave a link to Max & I found this kind of interesting

--------------------
Specific rods, lures, and bait will attract certain fish.
---------------------

Has anyone yet on test gotten new lures and/or bait? I know about the new rods.

that would be sweet.. swimming with your fish. you could invite your friends over, to see who has the biggest fish..

and think of swimming with the nurse shark. trying to swim away to be safe, and not lose LP
