That's the way to do it. I hate fishing too, but I hate waiting even more. So I fish when I have to wait. Got the devil ray, grand piano tuna and the all star that way, have all 70 now

I have all 70 fish and I still don't know if its worth it! You have to fish alot! I'm thinking somewhere in between 70K and 100K to get them all! You just got to keep fishing to get them!

I can't even imagine fishing for more than 20 minutes at a time. I seem to just get lucky at it. I have 69 now, with only the All Star to go. Usually, I try to fish for a about 3 or 4 buckets and then move on to something else. It just gets repetitive and boring. I get tired of it and don't do it for weeks at a time. I needed 3 more last week, and after giving it up for a while, started fishing again. Got lucky and caught 68 and 69 in the same bucket after about 4 buckets on Elm Street. The odd thing to me is that I probably fished more in the Brgh than any other place over the course of my toon's life, and the guide says that is were the All Star is most often found. It seems totally random. I would advise not staying at the same pond for too long. After 5 buckets, jump districts. Some seem better than others depending on the day.

I fished for three hours yesterday and got one new species (now I have 65). Then I raced for six. Racing is worse, at least fishing is mindless. I usually can watch TV or listen to music at the same time.

I guess I have more boredom tolerance than most people, but after doing facs for two weeks straight I think I prefer the fishing.

Yeah, I definitely like getting laff from fishing more than racing. After the first 20 trophies the rest is completely mind numbing and you have to pay attention to all the races so that you can win or else it's pointless whereas in fishing you can just zone out and do other things (tv, radio, etc.). Racing is just torture after a while.

almost two years ago, the one point I have yet to earn, is not worth my time. I bow to the ones that have the power to fish to 70, I just don't like sushi!

Exactly what I do now. I havnt caught a new species since march, when I caught 3 in 2 days. I have tried marathon fishing sessions, more hours than I care to mention spent on alto in one day one time, then the district method, and the couple of buckets at each pond, doing a circuit. Fishing stinks. Hats off to those that manage the 70. I fish when waiting for friends and before logging out time, other than that there are more fun things to do...

i cant stand fishing ive spent so much time over the past year and a half trying to catch my last fish the full moon and i cant catch it, it should not be this hard to catch a fish toontown should change the way fish are cought like 1/8000 you catch a full moon

The feeling you get when you've caught your last fish is awesome. Just spend less time fishing per day. I would fish 10 or so buckets and stop. It took me a year to catch all my species. When I first started out in 2002 you had to teleport back to the playground to sell your fish, then run back to the pond. Imangine how annoying that was. Don't give up ok, just spend less time on it so you don't get so frustrated.

Dispise it? Yes.

Last I played I needed 7 fish. All very rare ones. I spent weeks trying to find each and got none. Frustrated me, because I saw so many get it in minutes, hours, days.

Yeah, racing is far worse than fishing. I like fishing, its pretty fun and a good source of beans. If you try to get every fish you'll end up get frustrated and bored, like fishing in real life, it takes patience.

despise it for toontasks? yes, definatly. despise it for getting jbs? no way.

at least fishing is better for getting jbs than trolley games. i can get at least 800 jbs in an hour or maybe even less. its not ALL that bad really.....
